DCS: F-5E!

Python

Recommended Posts

Looking forward to this module. Now I wonder how Belsimtek, in Belarus, got cooperation of NorthropGrumman. The aircraft is still flown by Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipines, and Thailand.

Hopefully one of DCS 3rd party developers or ED themselves make Pacific theater, spanning from SSC to Bering Straight.

Turkey never had F-5E though, they were F-5A or NF-5A. They were all retired about 2-3 years ago, and even before that they were used more in an advanced training kind of role.

Nowadays, only specialized NF-5A&B for Turkish Stars aerobatics team are left in service.

Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V

Since the AIM-9P model is the same old low res one in the screenshots I sadly doubt they have looked at revamping the Papa.

Just because they have not modified the weapon / visual model yet does not mean they wont.

And also i Kinda doubt they will release it with only Gar-8s and the Old Default (not that well modeled) Aim-9P.

The plane looks great, although I hope BST adds some content to make it comparable to the other 3rd party modules.

Any info if we'll get skins as used by the Soviet Union F-5's?

Here's to hoping we get a wide variety of liveries, and not just variations on aggressor camo.

bat-mi-chuyen-viet-nam-do-tiem-kich-f-5e-my.jpg

I agree.

Some of the Skins i hope for are (but are not limited to)

If we just go for Historical / Realistic F-5E Camos.

Swiss.

Saudi.

Iranian.

Jordanian.

As those seem the most Suited for the Current Theatres.

But For others it would be nice to have either Taiwan or South Korea (or both)

as they are the two largest F-5E Users. (Taiwan being the largest by far)

As For Fictional Schemes the Mig-28 is a given.

And for other skins maby one or two F-5A skins converted to the F-5E (Dutch,Canadian or Norweigan etc)

Though im pretty sure things like those will be made by the plethora of skilled Skin makers in the DCS Community.

But i feel like Swiss and Iranian are two that are pretty much a must.

Taiwan would also be nice as they are the biggest F-5E user (over 300 F-5E/F made under license in Taiwan)

And the Mig-28 skin is also most likely a given as its such a iconic Paint scheme and especially with the flyable F-14 coming i would be very surprised if Belsimtek does not make it.
