WildBillKelsoe
Hi, I'm trying to get AI slicks to land next to an airfield on the grass to pickup troops, fly them to a drop point and land, and make them get out. How can I do it? Also, how can I assign 10 troops to a slick, and the other 10 troops to the other slick? How to add trigger for AI slicks to land using F10 on grass pickup troops, then another trigger to land on drop zone and disembark troops, also using F10? Thanks a bunch! fjacobsen
As far as I know, the Embark/Disembark function has been disabled until a fix for some MP related crashes has been found. Otherwise search for the CTTS script. FinnJ i7-10700K 3.8-5.1Ghz, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 12GB, 1 x 1 TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD2 TB, 1 x 2 TBHDD 7200 RPM, Win10 Home 64bit, Meta Quest 3. WildBillKelsoe
Well that kind of sucks... I forgot to mention I'm using ver 1.2.15 but I did try it, only troops usually run TO the copter and not wait for copter to run to THEM. Then there is a barrage of: "Roger" "Roger" "Roger" "Roger" "Roger" they actually disappear and slicks pick them up, but can't drop them off.... zaelu
in the latest patch change log there is this line: Fixed crash with assigning embarking task via scripting engine. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2366747#post2366747 iirc that was the reason it was disabled... it caused crashes. I haven't had time to test it but maybe it was fixed already. Wrench
I've noticed that as well. If you check the mission I posted, you'll see dome triggers I used. Im on my phone or I'd post the link. Just find the "smoke color mission test" in the huey mission section. Carrier Script.

Pikey
Side note related....I can't get Helis to takeoff again after an advanced action land. They land and stay there forever. Ss this confirmed as part of this disabled editor feature? Or am I setting an incorrect time/condition in the ME? ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
Eight Ball
there's an "on land" tick box (hh:mm:ss) which allows you to determine how much time the AI should spend on the ground.
