DieHard
I am looking for recommendations for a good car racing sim game that can utilize my 3D monitor in 3D using my nVidia GTX 680 video card. Thanks for any help. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ED Team NineLine Posted July 21, 2014 ED Team Share Posted July 21, 2014 iRacing is about the best, of course its a monthly fee, but even still... its about the best if not the best... rFactor2 also supports 3D as well... disclaimer: I havent played either in some time.... SkateZilla
I've been abusing the iRacing Subscription Sales, I think I'm stacked for another 5 Years now using the 2 years for $100 and 1 year for $50 deals. :) Monthly fees are overpriced, along with the 3 months. Just wait for Black Friday and buy a Year for $50, or 2 years for $100. I was paying $29.99 for 3 months, suspended my account for a few weeks so it wouldnt re-new at $30 for 3 months, and then used the black friday deal. :) Edited July 21, 2014 by SkateZilla Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

SkateZilla
iRacing eats lots of time, and then some more. I barely find the time to play anything else ... iRacing eats money just like DCS..... :music_whistling: (Modules, Controllers, Extra Screens, Tablet Apps, etc). Download iRacing and Subscription $30 for Starter Pack. Have to download Cars and Tracks you want outside of the starter pack. $15~ Each. ( NASCAR A Series alone cost me over $150 for the Gen6 Cars and All the tracks, and I think I'm still missing a few short tracks. ) When you realize your XBox Controller isn’t gonna cut it, $60-$800 for a wheel. (My Fanatec Setup was originally $600 for Wheel w/ Shifters, Pedals and then I bought a $200 Shifter. And it’s not even the top of the Line Fanatec wheel, as I wanted compatibility with Xbox360 and PS3 too.) When You want Extra Buttons for Specific things +$10-100+ for Button Boxes. When you realize you don’t know diddly about tuning the cars +$10-$15 for a Tuning App/Program (Well you can actually skip this and download setups off the forum, but it's still better to know what to change to fix setups that dont work for you, or start from the baseline) When you have 4 screens + Tablets and Want extra Information available during racing +$10 for Some APPs/Software. (I think I've bought 2 Android Apps, 1 for Dash/Gauges, and 1 for Extra Info, both of which have been replaced with free Programs that work easier). Right now I have 3 Screens for the Mainview, 1 for DASH/Gauges, Plus 2 Tablets for Lap Data etc. I've spent over $700 on the Software and well over $700 on the hardware for JUST iRacing. Granted I Use the Wheel with FM3/4 and other PC Racing Games... but they were bought for iRacing.
