DCS: Gazelle SA342 by Polychop Simulations

Scusate ma io ho un problema banale (spero).

Ho un x55 e diverse pulsantiere sviluppate con arduino.

Se mappo un tasto sull'hotas o su queste pulsantiere per farlo funzionare devo tenerlo premuto.

Per capirci, le levette Batt, Alt e Gen quando lascio il tasto tornano giù.

Sono di fatto tutti momentary switch.

Per quale xxxxx di motivo una scelta simile?

E appena arriva l'FFB ci posso cominciare a volare pure io un po'. come è normale che sia è un mezzo ancora giovane, ma l'impressione è che saranno più rapidi di altri a renderlo pienamente fruibile.

E molto interessante il fatto che dei piloti reali del Gazelle abbiano riconosciuto che il modello di volo è molto realistico ma che , ovviamente, può essere ancora migliorato...

 

Questo team con il Gazelle stà facendo veramente un' ottimo lavoro...

A mio avviso deve essere completamente rivisto sopratutto la portanza di traslazione che mi sembra davvero implementata male. Provate a fare un volo con potenza costante e velocità variabile e ditemi come si comporta l'elicottero. tutti i moduli rispondono molto realisticamente a questo test il gazelle direi proprio di no, e mi dispsiace visto che sono un acquirente al DAY 1.

A distanza di mesi la Poly si è fatta risentire sul Gazelle:

- Sound no more playing after helicopter crash or else and reloading a new mission

- Net arguments correction

- Gun & Rockets Sight correction

- No more persistent damages when starting a new mission with the helicopter crashed during a previous mission

- Radios have been reworked : Now Communication menus are acess-able through "", "RShift+ " and "RCtrl+ " for VHF AM, VHF FM and UHF AM radios respectively

- Corrected Gun sound

Today I feel to adress our customers, cause in some facebook topic people start to misunderstand again that Polychop Simulations is not Poly-Dynamics/ Miltech-5

First of all, although a former member of Polychop seems to have started Poly-Dynamics, we do not favour the new name at all, cause I see nearly every week misconclusions by customers and confusion.

Although I can not tell the other company not to use Poly in thier name in first place to not cause confusion, I hope that our customers can see the difference and also I hope everybody realizes that Polychop Siulations and Poly-Dynamics are 2 independand companies.

What I also want to point out strongly is the fact, that whatever is posted or said by Poly-Dynamics about armchair pilots or shown by community members as supposed Poly-Dynamics post, is nothing we will comment at all and that anything that is posted from Poly-Dynamics has nothing to do with Polychop Simulations.

What I can state though is, that the company is currently moving from bavaria to the capitol of Germany and in addition I am working on a list for the Gazelle pilots to test or confirm.

We have done some testing in the past and we found some stuff already that are details, according to a RAF Gazelle Pilot/Instructor. But I want to have more intel available and want a 2nd thought about what is off or incorrect. Also I do read the postings in the DCS Facebook group and the DCS forum. I noted down a few things that I will pass forward to have a word about it with the ALAT guys.

About the texture update and the sniper update. Currently Patrick was on vacation so I need to check with him how we can add the snipers and if, how long this will take in general. We have them on our list but not as Tier 1 issue to be honest.

About other projects that are developing in the background I do not want to share anything official at the moment cause we have 3 projects in the works. One could go into coding now as all 3D stuff is finished and the others are started in other ways already.

Che ci sia una situazione confusionaria non ci sono dubbi, ad ogni modo vediamo come si evolve la situazione per il Gazelle , devono necessariamente mettere mano all' FM o non vanno da nessuna parte.

Si infatti, c'è da augurarsi che sistemino il Gazelle come merita ,il modulo è fatto senz' altro bene e l' FM deve essere portato allo stesso livello qualitativo , per altro ho un' esperienza diretta su questo elicottero dal momento che ci ho fatto un paio di voli nella realtà (molti di più con l' Ecureuil e il Lama..) , ovviamente come passeggero e con la versione civile ma posso dire che l' FM attuale del Gazelle non è propriamente del Gazelle e necessita assolutamente di una messa a punto sopratutto per la stabilità in rapporto agli spostamenti del ciclico , non è possibile che al minimo spostamento di quest' ultimo l' elicottero reagisca con una manovra amplificata e anomala , per non parlare del collettivo:

 

 

 

 

Per la potenzialità non so , considera che il team non è più quello di partenza e stanno cercando del personale , vedremo cosa succede anche con riferimento a dei lavori , parlano di 3 moduli, che avrebbero in sviluppo.

Ma infatti, il problema è proprio quello , il Gazelle sembra un cavallo imbizzarrito e se noti quando tenti di contrastare le manovre anomale entra sempre nella condizione del "pendolo" cioè comincia ad andare di qua e di la senza possibilità di controllo , e questo capita anche con uno spostamento minimo del ciclico.

 

 

D' accordo la presenza del Fenestron ma che si comporti in questo modo non è affatto veritiero, tra l' altro e una macchina molto più moderna dello Huey e con rotore principale tripala ,dovrebbe essere moto più stabile che non il secondo...

Sono andato a controllare, quella che sembra un freno a mano è probabilmente una cornice in metallo che ricopre la guida dove è fissato il sedile, sempre se vi riferite a quella in colore chiaro.;)
