UPDATED 04/27/2016 (Confirmed working in newest DCS Versions)

 

 

For your mission building enjoyment, I present to you Ranger79's Mod Pack:

(Version 2.4.1).

 

Bugs:

- Some vehicles driver views cannot be used due window material issue.

- Many of the vehicles are not made for CA, but rather to enhance mission builders with a different variation. Please do not ask for driver views, etc if a vehicle is not driveable.

 

Changes:

Added the Chassis definitions directly in the unit LUA, this removes the dependency on DB_Units_Cars.lua

Removed the Chassis folder and DB_unists_Cars.lua file

Removed Duplicate Sound Files that are already defined by default install of DCS

*Reduced the number of files in the mod to maintenance and changes distinguishable from DCS files

*Removed the _Backup copies of units these have been there a while and we have not needed them, standard maintenance cleanup

Location / How to Place Units in Mission Editor:

 

Hope this helps:

 

The location of all units is under the "Add or Modify Ground Vehicle Group" icon (tank)

Select the icon, choose your faction and go to "Fortifications" for most objects, vehicles are located under "Armor" and "Unarmed." Insurgent Manpad & Windmill are located under "Air Defence"

I have one problem to see your elements, in my mission editor I can watch all your elements but when I'm in my simulation I can't see your elements...

 

In my folder "Tech" I have already three Mods who work fine:

#1: FudgesFortifications

#2: Mods_tech_Helipads

#3: Mi-8_Static_1.2.6

 

Each Mod is inside one folder but about your Mod I don't know how installed your Mod.

If I put Shapes folder, Textures folder and buildings.lua in my Mod folder I can just watch your Mods in my missons editor but not in my simulation...

 

And please can you tell me if I must installed this file: addon.lma3, if it's the case where I can installed this file ?

Use modman to install, may be conflicting with your other mods. The addon.lma3 file is a modman file only. Check the building lua for fudges mods against my lua if the "CXXXX" prefix are the same that might be causing your issue. If Fudge would allow I would add to my pack, or I can make simiar objects.

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Yeah its a modman install. Manual install at your own risk, I would refrain from that if possible.

I can fix tonight, very easy, you can try if you like to use notepad++ and replace the CXXXX prefix with something like CWAAA and use that sequence for the other objects with conflicts in my lua.
