  2. The current F18C radar sometimes fails to lock the target after finding the target, the threat ranking is chaotic, and the threat ranking of the SA page and the radar page are inconsistent.   3. I understand the loadout of 4 HARMs on stations 3/7 and stations 4/6 is almost never used in RL, but HARMs on stations 4/6 is possible as these stations are fully weapons-capable. So why can't we have HARMs on stations 4/6 as well? I mean it's kinda like the argument of 10 Aim-120s on the Hornet. The loadout of 10 Aim-120s is almost never used in RL as well, but it is allowed in DCS (and almost every Hornet pilots carry this loadout in the game). What do you guys think?
  4. Hello, I was making a flight in MP with someone to teach them a bit about A/G basics in the Hornet. When he tried to drop a GBU-12 on a target (Mode AUTO, EFUZ INST, DRAG FF, Code 1682), he had his LTD/R armed while I didn't. He immediately froze when he reached the drop cue. I didn't (probably because I had my LTD/R on SAFE) and continued. Later on, I dropped a GBU-12 on a different target (same parameters as before, but code 1788), this time with LTD/R on ARM so I could lase it myself.   5. In mission 12 I dont get any datalink information. I have my D/L set to On, my IFF set to On, Mids A+B turned on, SURV to on in SA page, NCTR to on in Radar. What could I be missing? Thx :)
  6. Whenever I place an invisible FARP it will only function with an M818 supplying it, the Ural-375 or HEMTT will not re-arm my planes/helicopters, not a huge issue but I'd like my russian birds to re-arm off of russian trucks
  7. a couple of ,minor things - clam is out of position and on the outside of the formation all the way after join up, and also executes his missing man pull up from the outside edge of the formation ? - The Tacan for VFO seems to be ofset by about 23nm ?
  8. Steps to reproduce: Setup two planes opposite of each other. Be in NAV mode. Go to MRM with one of them and lock the other plane. Go to DGFT and radar will be turned off and you lose lock. Expected behaviour would be that lock is retained. Just like when being in A/A mode, locking and then going to MRM or DGFT.
  9. I know after the last patch you can only have either NVGs or the JHMCS mounted to your helmet, not both. The mission starts you in the air, so I can't tell the Ground Crew to change to NVGs. NVG is not available, it defaults to JHMCS. I can't see anything outside. Thank You!
  10. Hi! Have been trying to fly the single mission "Atlantic Wall Raid - Bomber Escort" but it is not possible to fly due to some criticial mission bugs. The mission fails from the start and is not able to start correctly. The first flight "Red flight" is supposed to start and takeoff immidiately on mission start. This is what triggers the rest of the mission. But the do not move an inch from their parking slot. I have found the issue with this. It is all the tire flags that mark the path to the runway and also the wind flag next to the tires. Thay are in the taxi
  11. Here are 2 track files that shows that there is no real drag difference between a single rack and a double rack AIM 120c. Can someone confirm this bug? Both tests are tested under the exact same conditions. I just set up the same standart mission in the editor on Persian Golf map. Startet at 20.000 ft with 300kn, flight duration about 3 minutes. I have 10% fuel load and unlimeted fuel acitated for the testing on both flights. Payload is: Flight 1: 4 single rack AIM120 and the rest clean; Flight 2: 4 double rack AIM 120 and the rest clean.   12. When loading the gun with HEI at mission start the rounds fall short of the CCIP. It seems as if the CM aimpoint is calculated. Changing the ammo type to CM and back to HEI in IFFCC resolves the issue. HEI_CCIP_Miss.trk
  13. Hi, I noticed that the HARM in TOO mode can home on the 1L13 and 55G6 VHF EW radars. Publicly available documents suggest that the lowest band the AGM-88C can home on is the C band, and thus it wouldn't be able to target VHF emitters. In the DCS Hornet it seems it is not possible to target these emitters in SP mode, only TOO, and they don't have the RADAR_BAND_1_FOR_ARM or RADAR_BAND_2_FOR_ARM attributes in the database, so this leads me to believe that this is a bug in TOO rather than a design decision.   14. I fly the F-18 and every time I try to watch a playback for a track from the carrier, it always gets hung up at the wheel chock removal. Is there a fix for this?
  15. We've noticed a strange behaviour when performing low level loft attacks with MK-82 slicks. When the IP is south of the target, the Release Queue does not move down the Queue Line during the climb, and weapons do not pickle. This is all in CCRP mode, using Pair released MK-82s. Only pairs were tested, no singles or ripples. Attacks using the same profile work fine as close as 30° offset from heading 000 in either direction. I've installed DCS 2.5.6.60966 Open Beta today and tried my luck at mission 3 again, wanting to up my score of just 65% yesterday After all flights have reported to station and I've approached waypoint 4, the F10 radio option to start operations does not appear. I'm on channel G11. Can anyone reproduce it? Or is it just bad luck? I've given it only one try today. EDIT: I've only now installed the Razbam M-2000C patch, maybe this solves the issue. I will give it another go during the next days and report back.
  17. The external glass frame is missing from the cockpit model. It would be fine like this if we don't have the option to get outside of the cockpit. But since we have this ability, it would make sense to add this cover/frame.
  18. The cockpit avionics are incorrect for either USAF or USN based F5E aggressor model. According to both USAF series F5E/F manuals, and US navy's Natops F5E/F/N manual, the US service F5E's never had AN/ALE40 counter measures system, nor AN/ALR87 Radar warning receiver. Those avionics ( and their exact placement) would be on a Swiss F5E. The AN/ALE40 and AN/ALR87 RWR are only referenced within the Natops manual for the USN F5N model , but thats because they are literally former swiss modified F5E's, that they bought in the 2000's to augment the F5 aggressor fleet.   19. Only seems to happen in the A-10C and A-10C II, so i'm posting it here. See attached tracks - in the third track, the second missile does hit, so it may be related to the range at which the missile is fired.
  20. Looks there is another issue: I've reached WP2 keeping the correct distance from Reaper 2-1. I receive the 5 seconds command from the leader and turned in formation. However Reaper 2-1 keeps turning around forever without pushing to WP3. I did this mission 2 times with the same result.   21. I know this has been an issue since the beginning of time, but since BS3 isn't happening I decided to bring it up again. I know DCS doesn't have real contrast locking, but the current limitations placed on the skhval are not even close to realistic. Both of the following images show a clearly visible unit that the skhval refuses to lock onto. I have not changed the brightness or contrast dials.
  22. Hello gentlemen, I have an issue with AMPCD Store page when using Mav E. With first missile all seems OK, but when store changes to next station automatically, MAV E seeker head does not track when uncaging (laser is lasing) nor seems switching really work correctly. I have to press step to another station to get a lock where TGP is looking. Could this be a bug? NB! Automatic switching and manual uncaging works with the left and right store page in Mav E mode, no issues there. Haven't tested other weapons though. Thanks. F18 AMPCD no uncage nor
  23. After a long flight on the 109 (more than 1 hour) I noticed that the engine was not producing as much power as in the beginning of the flight. I could reproduce the event, see track. It is rather simple just fly around at cruise power (around 1.15 ATA) and after about 50 minutes (use time compress) you can hear the engine damage and it producing less power by comparing the airspeeds. An easier way to check that is to “active pause”, and after around 30 minutes you can see the propeller pitch changing to compensate (increasing pitch) the loss of power.   25. Greetings, Team. As advised by BIGNEWY on Discord, I have uploaded a track file showing an issue my A-10C II Flight and I are having currently. We're having an issue in the A-10C II whereby my CCIP projected bomb impact line is horizontal when approaching the target. It's only started happening since the DCS 2.5.6.60645 Open Beta patch.
