Hello ladies and gentlemen, I would like to start this thread in order to have one place where we can all contribute to the gathering of F1EQ documentation, cockpit photos, and other information regarding the Iraqis’ revered and infamous F1EQ, preferably the F1EQ-6, but all otherwise is welcomed. I hold the belief that, after the release of the BE and M, an F1EQ variant has been the most popular wishlist request for the Mirage F1 module. The F1EQ-6, the ultimate F1, was above and beyond in its capabilities, and was easily the most capable variant of the F1 from a Dassault factory. I would like for anyone interested in this project to contribute, whether by searching for documentation and pictures, or just having conversation and sharing information on the elusive F1EQ, in the hopes of catching Aerges’ eyes. I believe the F1EQ would be an incredible addition to DCS, considering its historical importance in the theatres of war seen in DCS, such as the Persian Gulf. The Scourge of the Persian Gulf, the Tomcat Killer, the infamous Mirage F1EQ! I do this, as I am personally a huge fan of the F1EQ, but also because I know that many other DCS: Mirage F1 fans are as well, and I want to have one place where Aerges can see all of us working together and showing that we do want an F1EQ, and that we, or me personally, would not mind paying extra, as it is a very advanced and complicated variant of the F1. Everyone is welcomed, so if anyone has any information, documentation, or pictures (cockpit or external), share it here!

Il 36° Stormo Virtuale nasce nel 2012, fondato da un gruppo di appassionati di simulazione di volo militare. Come simulatore viene scelto Digital Combat Simulator, o DCS, che si distingue dal resto dei simulatori presenti sul mercato per l'elevato livello di realismo delle dinamiche di volo e dei sistemi d'arma. Negli anni, il 36° Stormo Virtuale, grazie al lavoro delle persone che si sono succedute alla sua guida ed ai suoi membri, è stato in grado di evolversi ed espandere le sue attività sulla maggior parte dei moduli presenti in DCS. Attualmente lo Stormo vanta ben quattro Gruppi di Volo, suddivisi diverse squadriglie fra Caccia, Bombardieri, Multi-Ruolo ed Elicotteri, con una media di circa 50 piloti attivi. La forza del 36° Stormo Virtuale è sicuramente la sua filosofia basata sulla condivisione delle conoscenze, non vi è infatti un sistema didattico basato sulla figura dell'istruttore, ma piuttosto un sistema di apprendimento basato sullo scambio di informazioni fra i vari piloti virtuali. Al fine di garantire gli standard operativi e l’uniformità delle procedure, i percorsi formativi sono guidati e supervisionati dal Comando di Stormo e dai Responsabili di Sezione Operativa che di giorno in giorno collaborano alla guida del gruppo e documentano le procedure mediante la produzione di appositi manuali pubblicamente condivisi e disponibili per chiunque sul nostro sito. Le attività dello Stormo spaziano dalle classiche serate addestrative, dove ci si addestra a perfezionare la propria conoscenza del mezzo, alle attività operative interne come le Joint Tactical Operations, i tornei internazionali e le campagne organizzate in collaborazione con altre comunità di volo. Hello everyone ! I'm posting this to announce the creation of the DCS Tactical Recon Community discord. This discord aims to gather all virtual pilots interested in this special mission, to share dedicated scripts, multiplayer server to practice and discuss specific tactics as well as the real world of aerial reconnaissance by sharing documents, photos, stories, books, podcasts, websites, etc... All people interested in aerial reconnaissance and its aircraft are welcome. We are also looking for people who want to participate in the creation of content to improve and propose new dedicated scripts, as well as to create liveries and mods. Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to post about a community day our DCS group is having Sunday, April 2nd. We are a new and relatively small group looking for some members; and I think this would be a great way to meet some new people! We will be hosting a Breakout Tournament as well as a Capture the Flag server after! Breakout is a 2v2 arena style game mode, where carrier based F18s take off and engage in a close quarters ACM/BFM dogfight with Aim-9Ls and guns. This game mode is in beta but should still be a lot of fun. As for the capture the flag, well it's capture the flag! Fight to secure the other team's flag while protecting your own. Most planes have a set of older Fox-2s with a full load of guns, flares, and unlimited fuel. This is probably the most fun you can have in DCS ;). Squadron name: Nemesis squadron - Timezone/OPS: We are a primarily UK based Squadron and as such we run ops roughly in the evening around 1930 GMT(BST if its summer). We also host additional ops at different times in the week so all nationalities are welcome! - Realism rating: 3/5. We try to be semi-realistic - Roles needed: We are currently recruiting for F18/16/14 and all helicopters. Other jets will be considered on contact. We are also looking for Mission designers, Opfor commanders and LotATC controllers to help make our missions be more in-depth and interesting. - Squadron Requirements: SRS is a hard requirement. Pilots to have HOTAS. RIO, CPG, WSO keyboards accepted. Some form of headtracking/VR. Recommended DLC: Supercarrier – F14/18. Maps PG/Syria. - Basic notes: We are a relatively new squadron that has enjoyed rapid growth since opening our ranks in December 2022. We have no required level of proficiency to fly with us. Flight Training Officers will run specific trainings for your airframe and missions weekly. We have an ‘Advanced Pilot Program’, who have progressed through the relevant qualifications to become our top pilots, who enjoy our advanced missions.
