  1. Hi, some of my controls keep being reassign and have to re map them after a game crash. Perhaps it a 2.7 thing because some of my friend are saying it's the same with the Anton
  2. Dear ED, Could you pease have a look at AI gunners? (currently in the B17, but one theJU-88 is out, it will probably have the same problems). Even if they are set to "average", no matter what angle/deflection you approach from they shred you to pieces with their laser beams. I know, approaching from behind SHOULD be dangerous, but currently you cannot fy within 500m of a lone B-17 without getting killed. Also, when they all fire there is a huge FPS impact. Do you have any plans/ ideas to improve this? Thanks a lot!
  3. When I move the flaps in the mustang, I get some very strange cracking noises, that will stay until the flaps are fully retracted again. It sounds like a corrupt soundfile or some problem with the soundmixing to me.
  4. Looks like moving fuel pump selector all the way forward by mouse, turns them off. Again, why for fuel pump selector create axis input, it is obvious that this is indexed lever, there is only Off, pump 1, pump 2 or both pumps on, no intermediate positions allowed. I just cant grasp that why do it in the first plance. In this 2.7 patch ED messed a lot of controls in the planes, including mouse controls, which i cant think off why exactly. Bf-109 fuel pump.trk

I have set up a little mission with various flights appearing around my CAP-Waypoints and with some of them normally appearing on BVR radar DDI as blips or contacts, I have constantly problems with others, they don´t appear at all from 70 miles down to dogfight range, they are right in front of me against the sky, until I get visual, and I´m getting no contacts at all switching through all bars and ranges, as if I´m completely blind. Sometimes I have contact on radar page, but constantly loosing lock within seconds when pressing TDC, and I´m completely lost - in the F16 all works fine, contact
  6. I don't think this is specific to the campaign, but it's where I'm running into it so I'll post it here. I never get tone with the CAP-9Ms in missions 1 and 2. I can be half a mile directly behind the target, with a radar lock and the sidewinder reticle over them, and the tone doesn't change from its seeking grumble. On the HUD, I only ever see "TST 2" crossed out, so I'm guessing that has something to do with it. Pressing the cage/uncage button doesn't do anything. Is there some extra step to get the seeker to actually give me something, or is it broken in some way?
  7. I've now tried I don't know how many times to get the TGP on the F16 to find a buddy laze via LSS, and I've had no luck. A10 and Harrier will find a buddy laze no issue very fast; but no matter what with the F16, no matter my range, I cannot get the LSS function to find a buddy laze. I'll admit I have not tried finding a JTAC laze, but I imagine it would have similar results. Last night alone I was looking within 0.1 degrees of a target, and the TGP after uncage and LSS search mode it still wouldn't find the target that I could see on the screen before going
  8. Firing a tow missile at a passing T-80. For the first 3-4 seconds, the tow missile sends my frame rate down to about 1 per second. Then it speeds up, but then it might crash before impact.
  9. Ts & Ps in the green, (warmed up, pressures in range). Supercharger lever locked to the throttle mapped to only one axis, which is my calibrated HOTAS, and no keyboard keys. On takeoff, it's popping and surging like it's about to quit, raspy sounding, like a Briggs&Stratton lawnmower engine that's burning oil and too lean on the pilot jet. So then I make sure my cowl flaps are closed. And the canopy. Because it sounds horrible. After that, the engine continually goes VRRRROOOm vruuughm VRRRRROOOm vruuughm .... and with every surge, the aircraft yaws back and forth
  10. I cant seem to get it to show up when airborne, only when i am on the deck , unless i press and map the PTT button? Anyone else ?
  11. Spitfire Spinner disappears when up close in F2 view then reappears when you zoom out. In fact I also notice an issue with the spinner on the FW190 Dora, where (presumably) the LOD changes when up close to a general black one, and further away its striped or spiralled. Pre-2.7 I never noticed the spiiner disappearing, or is it just a detail setting on my end?
  12. I should clarify. I know the end mission mapping is a general command. My problem is that ESC works in all the other places it should but not in CA. There are some key mappings that are screwed up. I would suggest that ED QC the entire CA system for usability. It's like the title says...I can't use Tac Cmd on the server I fly on because there is no end mission key bind and no other keys work either. You come in on an isometric view and that's all you get. You can't select any other position in the unit.
  13. It seems that I cant launch any a2a weapon on f18c, aim9x, 120b/c, aim7, neither of them. I checked my radar lock, the master arm, and air to air mode select. It seems everything is ok. But I just cannot launch a2a weapon. The air to ground weapon is fine, rocket, bombs, harm, they are good. I'm using keyboard, i change the weapon release button to left alt + space. When I press the button, I can even see the animation on the stick, I can see the red button is pressed down, but no missile is launched. I also check the other plane, f5e, p51, they are good. I'm not sure whether it

  15. Hey everyone. I seem to always have a problem with the hornet dropping bombs in CCRP mode where the bomb fall line is not alligned over the target. If I follow the line it takes me wildly off course and if I fly toward the target I don't get the drop cue. Is this something to do with the ins alignment process? I fly the viper and the harrier and have no problems with CCRP bombing with these.
  16. For the last few weeks I have used the HARM's extensively. They flight profile tends to be way too low on most occasions ergo causing the missile to impact the ground nearby OR hitting the target and not registering whatsoever. According to TacView replays and screenshots these are registered HITS indicated by the flashing white box however in game the unit remains at 100% OR for direct hits will not completely destroy the unit. Ive noticed they dont follow a logical flight path to the targets either. It likes to dive down and then skid low level with no energy to its target causing it to
  17. Hello as the title says I have Problems with my HUD. I got a new screen with a resolution of 5120*1440 and the hud looks too thick now and i also have too zoom out a lot to have a nice view in the pit. Is there a way to change this somehow?
  18. Well, at least DCS AI is consistent... consistently spoils the sim in many respects...! Both aerial gunners and land / ship based gunners are way too accurate - especially as radar controlled gunnery was either absent (eg on merchant ships) or in its infancy. Their ability to lay fire onto fast moving and maneuvering targets is beyond uncanny
  19. My apologies if this has been addressed in another thread. When the elevator is raised it does not return to neutral. Up to about 1/2 elevator command it stays where it stops when returning the stick (or the command via keyboard) to center. If it goes past that point it returns to that point when the stick is returned to neutral. ( I noticed this on the ground after a few tail strikes during takeoff). I didn't know what was causing them but now it's obvious. When pushed to the full down position the elevator returns to neutral as it should. Any ideas, anybody?
  20. well guys as the title says ..., when I go to AG mode to practice bombing with silly bombs like the Mk82 / snakeeye etcetc, the CCIP mode line does not come out vertical, the plane is perfectly aligned in case someone asks, it is a bug? If it is not a bug, what am I doing wrong? I wanted to clarify if that helps, that I do not play online, I only play custom missions, I play singleplayer offline. In case it helps.
  21. Configured without tgp. No manipulation of spi. Selected steerpoint showed the dashed box around it which looked like the tgp fov symbology despite not carrying a tgp.
  22. I just so happened to get a recording post mission with some friends after landing and rearming from a2a to a2g. I noticed my bomb line in ccip is either sideways, going upwards, or straight ahead in my hud...mission date is in 1992 and ins knob is in ifa. I'm not sure what happened but bombing the target was impossible due to the fact the fall line was every way but down..also wind set 5knts for mission out of the west
  23. I just had a weird thing with HMD on an MP server. It would always turn on with 'IN TEST' message followed by alternating grids/triangles etc. going on and on without stopping. I landed, did a full shutdown and startup, the issue did not fix itself. I could not find anything in BIT or HMD screens to stop that. And I did not want to respawn or restart DCS for not to lose my scores. This was the first time it ever happened, not sure how to replicate it. But it was annoying. What was that?

Instant Action Takeoff Caucasus On climbout, reduced rpm to 2500, MP 45" Trimming full nose up, 200kts, still needed heavy stick aft to keep from diving observed pitch trim wheel moving with application of aft trim to the stop, off the stop with fwd trim, then back again to full aft, no change in aircraft response. Still "nose heavy".
  25. Correct me if I am wrong however there seems to be a locking issue on Point Track with the TGP. TGP ground stabilizes and I can Area track but struggle to obtain a Point Track on those convoy vehicles. This is whilst in Mission Editor and not in game.
