bunraku
I notice on the very first page of the manual that one of the factors for influencing Eagle Dynamics decision to make DCS A-10C was they had been working on an A-10 simulation for the Air National Guard and worked out an agreement to release an entertainment version. So does anyone know the main difference’s between the ANG’s simulation and our entertainment version? Thanx
SyntaxError
My guess is just classified details/functions and a different menu system. Otherwise everything else is identical. Eddie
Flight model (DTS doesn't need anything close to DCS), weapons (DTS has some stuff DCS doesn't, avionics (DTS has some (not all) of the classified stuff. The game aspects in DCS, such as the mission generator, campaigns, single missions etc. won't be in the DTS. And of course the fact that DCS is based on A-10C suite 3, whereas the last version of the DTS was a later suite. Basically, the DTS and DCS are VERY different entities, which very different uses. The DTS wasn't converted or adapted into DCS, some of the information and sources used to make the DTS were used to make DCS. Major differences are: different SADL implementation, different IAM symbology, different CMSP/CMSC displays, Suite 3.3 features, and most (but not all) of Suite 5 features. Additionally there is ARC-210 satellite radio modeled. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] К чему стадам дары свободы? Их должно резать или стричь. Наследство их из рода в роды Ярмо с гремушками да бич.
