What news about TWSA?

The same, albeit different, we havent finished development yet (different as in this is our side, not depending on ED). TWS Auto is very complicated to get right, hence we did not want to rush something before Christmas, while not being entirely where we want to be. Our apologies for that and thank you for your kind understanding. The same goes for Jester Lantirn btw, which also needs a bit more time. We will have an update soon that will discuss the current state of development.

I just hope you guys aren't trying to crunch these out over another holiday season.

No, we thought working 3 holiday seasons 3 years in a row was enough, and hence we will close down shop over the holidays this year. I hope ya'll forgive us for that, hehe. :)

It is close to completion, but the problem in saying this: we had for example the aim54 already in a patch candidate, and then testing turned out it did not work and we had to take it out again. That was iirc over a month ago now again. So close, that can mean anything between 1 week and 3 months (even those numbers are completely made up by me now), and we just cannot know.

I'd love to give you guys a good estimate, but I just can't. We'll take a nice break now, concentrate a bit on family and loved ones and so on, and then we will steam full speed ahead again. That's the one thing I can promise: we'll do our best to get it out asap.

As in everything, a relaxed and happy worker is more productive and capable than a not such a worker.

And everyone should have holidays free, it ain't so that the world should keep going 24/7 in every possible place (excluding jobs like police, hospitals, search and rescue etc etc...).

FYI we use both Ansys Fluent and Flow Vision software for our FM calculations for both AC and missiles. In Q1 of 2020, we plan to make available all our CFD calculations, performance graphs and data sets for most of our missiles and AC in DCS. We have set ourselves a hard target of delivering to you the most reliable and precise missile FM and guidance laws in order to put any uncertainty or lack of clarity to bed. This work is being done with the assistance of all our SME's and 'friends' in industry and while not all data is openly available, our aerodynamics and missile specialists will deliver a very scientific report for those of you who wish to cross-examine our calculations and findings in detail. Our goal is to move closer and closer to reality where and when possible and to deliver enhanced combat realism and customer satisfaction. That goes for airframe aerodynamics, engines and systems as well. We know we have a long way to go but we are committed to continuing in this direction with purpose. Once again thanks to you and all our passionate community we hope to achieve a level of excellence which may be up to your expectations. We really appreciate your commitment and devotion to DCS, thank you again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families. Kind regards, Nick

Will your pals implement this new mechanism to research and upgrade AIM-54s?

Just a heads up guys, it is rather unlikely that this will make it in before christmas still. Our apologies for that.

Thanks a lot for keeping us in the loop and I wish you guys a peaceful christmas! :)

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Any rough approximation on the development update? Not day, week, or month. Just a quarter is fine like Q2 or Q3 2020.
