YoYo
Hi, Finally I recived HP Reverb v2 yesterday. Looks and works ok but .... my FPS not stable. I see something between 45-90 in DCS and the same in IL-2 Sturmovik (mostly 60-70). The picture isnt very smooth with this so Im sure that reprojection doesn't work properly. I used this manual to install all what I need: https://vr4dcs.com/2019/09/10/reverb-settings-for-dcs/ . For sure I use beta WMR for SteamVR (1.80.20 version). I used also the new entry in Steam.VR.Settings file (and the rest from vr4dcs): “motionReprojectionMode” : “auto”, “motionReprojectionIndicatorEnabled” : true, without this "//", but no any difference. Any ideas :( . Windows 10 1903 up to date. eaglecash867
Hi YoYo, The FPS fluctuations definitely sound like motion reprojection isn't turned on for some reason. I know you've probably already done this after making the changes to the setup file for WMR, but make sure you exit all of the SteamVR stuff and WMR, and then restart them for the changes to take effect. I only say that because I made that mistake a couple of weeks ago, and forgot to restart everything. Here's a really good resource for information on changing that file to enable reprojection. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/using-steamvr-with-windows-mixed-reality Also, a thread I started a week or two ago. It has screenshots of all the settings I'm using to give me a good experience. Zoomer
I run with no reprojection on the Reverb with a 2080. So long as it's 45fps or over then I'm good. 90fps would be great and it's sometimes possible but not often. Reprojection brings ghosting, so no thanks. I cant agree, the "pan" view is ok but when You start to move (and watch) side to side the picture is with unpleasant lag. In DCS I had before reprojection near 80-90 FPS (after inastalled new drivers of NVidia) and this lag was visible still. BUT I have good news for me from yestarday. My problem is solved, I use the other user file from this page: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4080029&postcount=3941 and the reprojection mode is ON from now for DCS and IL-2. The ghosting isnt present with 100% of WMR SteamVR beta for the Reverb (only when I did more, like 130% but less than on Pimax 5K+ for me). Great! Thank You.
