sudden and violent cobra

The KA-50 in dcs 2.5 open beta on steam is almost unflyable at the moment due to sudden and violent cobra maneuvers when attempting to fly in foward level flight. My theory is that the auto hover function has been glitched by some recent update as the behaviour of this bug is in line with the behaviour of the Auto hover function. The bug goes like this. push stick foward to go fowards gain speed, return stick to neutral position to enter level AOA and then a sudden violent cobra happens with no control inputs, followed by a seemingly automated recovery and slow backwards track. I also checked the lights above the windshield the light that belongs to the auto hover is not on when this sudden maneuver occurs. Any ideas what's going on? sincerely hope this issue can be fixed soon. Anyone else who is experiencing this issue please feel free to post below.
