USSInchon Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) When an aircraft is set to "UNCONTROLLED" it will sit at it's spot with its engine(s) running. I have tried unchecking and rechecking the box to no avail. It affects both player and AI only aircraft. Winston 60 Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 Yes, confirmed for AI uncontrolled aircraft. I noticed this just after installing the 1.5.6.4546.280 Update 2 patch. My mission included 2 AI F-18's with ramp starts that were not activated yet, and viewing them externally I could hear their engines running although there were no pilots in the seats, no taxi lights or position lights were on and the wings were still folded. Usually pilots occupy the aircraft and they turn on lights before starting and then extend their wings, so maybe they are really not started up yet and just making false engine running sounds without the engines actually running?
