Missions are initiated by players and are dynamically generated by the engine.

There are several exciting mission types available in "Through The Inferno"
  • Air to Air --> (Easy, Normal, Hard)
  • Air to Ground --> (Attack Jet A2G or Attack Helo A2G)
  • Multi-role
  • Anti-ship (1.5 Only)
  • Deep Strike (1.5 Only)
  • WW2 Air to Air
  • WW2 Air to Ground
  • Korean War Era Air to Air
  • Korean War Era Air to Ground
Missions can be replayed and stacked. Each mission is dynamically generated and will never be the same when replayed.


Persistent combat environment will generate:
  • Randomized Scramble/Air Raid Events
  • Randomized Enemy Air Patrol Events

Modules:
ALL AIRCRAFT INCLUDING WW2 PLANES ARE AVAILABLE!

Other Features:
  • JTAC for aircraft that use it
  • Wonderfully handcrafted Air to Ground Missions designed by OscarJuliet.
  • Refueling tankers
  • CTLD Script for Helos (Pickup/dropoff troops cargo, AA defenses and more into battle)
  • CSAR Script for Helos (Rescue downed pilots) Note: Human pilots will not be locked out of a slot once they die/eject. This is purely for helo pilots' enjoyment.
  • EWRS Script for convenient AWACS Picture Reports
  • Dynamic combat events.
  • Combined Arms events and play-ability.
  • Custom kneeboards
  • Auto-kick and ban syste.m for team killing.
  • Great for beginners and veterans.

Official Server Rules::

!!Please land and takeoff on the right side of the runway. You must always state your intentions in chat and/or on SRS. Always check F10 map for friendly aircraft who are ignoring our comms. It takes two to wreck and that makes you partially at fault.

!!There is a zero tolerance policy for trolls or people interested in ruining the coop combat experience here. We have an auto kick/ban system in place for friendly fire incidents. Apologize in chat for any TK issues. Always check F10 map and IFF before firing. If you kill a friendly YOU are responsible for your actions.

!!Everyone should at minimum have online chat open with the TAB key. SHIFT + TAB to type. SRS radio is highly encouraged. The rules are simple. If you are doing something that would harm another player’s ability to have fun you probably shouldn’t be doing it. Admins are always watching and easily reachable on discord.

!!Our F10 map is limited to friendlies only.


!! Do not park in the helicopter spawn area, as marked and noted in the breifing images.

Feel free to use any other open area parking spots/ramps to park for rearm/refuel.

!! This is a combat server. Please refrain from performing aerobatics near friendly airbases (within ~10nm), fly professional and state intentions in chat to notify other pilots. You will be kicked for reckless flying around other players.

Detailed information for specific missions:

Air to Air - [EASY - NORMAL - HARD]
This task will initiate enemy combat air patrol units.
-Easy - Early generation fighters, one or two squadrons of 2-3 units each. Moderate AI difficulty.
-Normal - Good to Hard difficulty AI, full squadrons of capable fighters. 2-3 squads at most.
-Hard - At least three full squadrons of four. Very hard AI difficulty (Excellent).

Air to Air missions for all generations of aircraft are available.

Air to Ground - [JET - HELO]
This task will initiate enemy ground units.
-JET - Will generate more than 20 ground units, that will spawn at least 30nm away from base.
-HELO - Will generate more than 20 ground units, possibly another helo. These spawns do not spawn further than 20nm from base.
-Use <Enable Ground Units> to order troops on the ground to return fire.
-Helos can use CTLD menu options to bring troops picked up from base to any location on the map, preferably a combat zone in need of support.

Air to Ground missions for all generations of aircraft are available.

Multi-role
This task will initiate enemy ground and combat air patrol units of moderate difficulty.

Anti-ship (Caucasus map only)
This task will initiate enemy ships and an air patrol over the target area at sea (Caucasus map only)

Helo Missions (CTLD Script)
Pick up and drop off troops, build AA defenses, build vehicles and transport them, build FOBs, all using CTLD script (see link below for details)

Helo Missions (CSAR Script)
Rescue downed ejected pilots using the CSAR script (see link below for details)

Deep Strike (Caucasus map only)

This task will initiate a heavy volume of enemy ground and air units more than 150nm from base. Friendly squadrons of at least two attack jets and two fighter jets recommended.


Naval Strike (Caucasus map only)
This task will initiate an enemy naval fleet, ground forces at a nearby shore to the fleet and naval air units that take off from carriers. Friendly squadrons of at least two attack jets and two fighter jets recommended.


Air to Air [WW2] (Caucasus map only)
This task will initiate enemy combat air patrol units from the WW2 era.

Air to Ground [WW2] (Caucasus map only) This task will initiate enemy ground units from the WW2 era.


Air to Air [Korean War] (Caucasus map only) This task will initiate enemy combat air patrol units from the Korean War era.

Air to Ground [Korean War] (Caucasus map only)This task will initiate enemy ground units from the Korean War era.

I've added a "detailed mission information"

Explaining how each task works. There are a couple new features like air to air has 3 difficulty levels and air to ground now lets you choose if you want it to be more jet or helo oriented.

New scripts such as CTLD (helo pickup script+ more) and EWRS (AWACS without the AWACS plane, gives you on screen text reports) are active.

I've added more player slots and removed some of the SFX/Voice Clips so that it doesn't get annoying to everyone in the server.

I went on earlier and slotted into a MiG-21, but for some reason it said that all my tasks were already in progress, which was odd.
