Default Mod for Mbot F-5 Dynamic Campaign : Desert Warthog 06

Here is a mod for the great Mbot Dynamic Campaign Engine first campaign Desert Tiger 76 introducing a pure Mud plane : the A-10C Warthog
To give it a chance to survive the russians fighters, I added a Hornet unit with pure Air missions (Mbot's advice himself )
I'm not sure AI fighters will be able to help the Warthog to do the job but it's a good way to test this great DCE with unusual settings.
Try it and tell me if you are able to make the job with AI's help (I'm sure Mbot will be interested too )
May be will it be necessary to adjust this campaign settings...
As usual read the readme file to install this campaign :
Installation:
-------------
1. Extract the folder in the zip file to: "DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Missions". Ensure that the resulting folder structure is “...\A-10C\Missions\EN\Campaigns\Desert Warthog 06\...”.

2. Open the file "DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Scripts\MissionScripting.lua". Add two minus signs in front of line 16 "sanitizeModule('os')" and line 17 "sanitizeModule('io')". The code block from line 16 to line 20 should then look like this:

--sanitizeModule('os')
--sanitizeModule('io')
sanitizeModule('lfs')
require = nil
loadlib = nil

This modification has to be repeated after each update of DCS World 2 OpenAlpha, as each update reverts the file back to its original state.

Nota :
-New version of the campaign with more realistic opponents for 2006 : Mig-29 and russians only squadrons !
-You need to program each channel manualy in the A-10C VHF radio if you want to use the preprogram channels... (in F-5E and M-2000C it was done automatically)
-There is a problem with the radio commands in A-10C : it seems impossible to ask AI wingmen to attack buildings or any kind of structures Use the great Warthog ground power to attack multiple targets yourself and use AI to clear the way shooting air defenses when main targets are buildings. Sorry for that... Later in the campaign the targets will be more adapted (artillery, tanks, SAMs...)

Is it cold start? Is it possible to start on the runway?

The radio command to tell your flight to engage the mission objectives seems to be missing. I can't get them to attack the ammo warehouses or fuel tanks at Creech like I can in the other dynamic campaigns.

It seems you are right Zeroskill
The only solution I propose to play this missions (with buildings, bunkers or structures) is to use the great Warthog ground power to attack multiple targets yourself and use AI to clear the way shooting air defenses. Sorry for that...
Later in the campaign the targets will be more adapted (artillery, tanks, SAMs...)

Well I made a Caucasus campaign for the Mirage 2000C but I think it will not be really playable by A-10C. This is a more "multirole plane" dedicated campaign with a first part against lot of russians modern fighters (Su-27 and Mig-29). Escort is often very busy and not able to stop every enemy fighters so A-10C would be unable to make the job. Stealth attack is not possible because of AI wingmen being unable to stay low and there are still bugs with MP radio system (can't ear ATC or AWACS ) so COOP is not really playable for now. Waiting for ED bug correction !
