Default DCS WWII: Europe 1944

The remaining team members of the now shuttered Maddox Games is coming abroad to DCS. Luthier's team had just confirmed that they are working on the WWII time period. Official announcements are coming out 'soon'...

Ah, I was wondering how long this would take to go public (it is up to our partners to decide such matters). Basically, we have a partnership agreement with what used to be parts of the former IL-2 team to develop new DCS content. We are very excited about this, particularly what it means for our second world war combat environment.

I'm not a WW2 guy (even though the DCS P-51D is so much fun to fly ), but these are great news. DCS World is realy flourishing

The production team growing can only be a good thing I'm sure, now the wait to find out what exactly will come from this

Perhaps a few reference pictures will help the new team with their first project?

777 Studios (the developers of Rise of Flight) announced that they had merged with the former Cliffs of Dover team. So these Maddox Games remnants mentioned in the O.P. are people who didn't stay on to work with 777 Studios, but chose to go for DCS instead?
