GC1993
Every time DCS updates my mods get wiped and I have to do them again each time - it's not disastrous as I only use about 5 or 6 but an inconvenience none the less. Is there a way have your mods stay active after a DCS update?
NeilWillis
If they're in your saved games folder, they will not be overwritten by the update.
Oesau
JSGME - is the way to deal with this (not sure if you have looked at it or even used it - or maybe both and don't like it) as it's easier to disable the MOD, run the update, reinstate the MOD. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607&highlight=JSGME+guide
cichlidfan
Is there a way have your mods stay active after a DCS update? Aside from a mod manager, like JSGME as Oesau suggested, no. The updater removes any file that does not match what it expects to find. If it did not do this it could not possibly work (without becoming so complicated that it would lose it's value). Devrim
...Is there a way have your mods stay active after a DCS update? There shouldn't be a way, because your mods may not work in proper functionality with updated DCS World version. So, you may have difficulties with DCS World.
