It didnt take a few years to "Fix", it took a few years for ED to finally deem it not needed and remove it. Different Situations. Huey search light on the ground is almost invisible and there is no water light reflection. I think he is referring to how much the search light illuminates the ground. From that image, it does appear to be very weak, given how incredibly brightly these things illuminate IRL. Maybe, but it does light up the area as much as other lights around it, sure it should/could be brighter, but I would argue its not "almost invisible" so I am not seeing what he is describing. If something was in that spot, I would have lit it up and been able to see it without issue.
