Teapot
Teapot, have you considered marriage counselling as a side job? You just outlined a 5 point golden relationship rulebook! Don't forget 6. "Smile and nod." G'day Pikey! Of course  number 6. cinches the whole shebang doesn't it! Astrospud, are you speaking from personal experience? Heheh Marriage Counselling on the forum is one thing, but for real? I think I'd rather pull teeth from a fully conscious unrestrained grizzly with an inflamed lower jaw abscess. It'd be safer :D. On a serious note, I showed those screenshots to some mates @ work (who don't fly combat flight sims) and they were quite impressed. I feel that Combined Arms is going to blur the distinction between flight simulation addict and the hordes of 'other' game players. It's travelling a recognisably similar path of potential that WWIIOnline tried (but from a flight sim perspective failed to deliver IMO). I think that DCS: Combined Arms will deliver ... absolutely! Edited June 4, 2012 by Teapot "A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft." Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

leafer
LOL Tea, you've to talk her into watching Game of Thrones. She'll be day dreaming about Robb Stark or Jon Snow to care about your sim habit. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

But you could have problems when Daenerys Targaryen appear on the screen :) Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
