Is AI carrier taxi still broken?

With the supercarrier I had the following AI:

2x Hornets

2x Tomcats

1x Viking

1x Hawkeye

All set to "Uncontrolled" with a start trigger after x-minutes of mission time. The Hornets, Viking, and Hawkeye started up, taxiied out, and launched no problem.

The Tomcats, however, started up fine, even had their wings swept, but just sat there on the Sixpac and refused to move.

Is the taxi logic still broken?

It shouldnt be, maybe the uncontrolled trigger broke it. Try without it, and see if it is different please. would be good to know if general or trigger related. Thanks!

Try with this mission please. For me it worked perfectly, first the hornets, then the F14s and last the e2 and s3 taxi out and take off. Please send me your mission.

I am thinking if this is not also owed to the slight version mismatch that happened during the patch.

Attached mission.

Yours works flawlessly, but the Tomcats all spawn on the stern. After reducing the statics and setting two Hornets to spawn bow-side of the Sixpack and two Tomcats to spawn on the island side of the Sixpack, the third aircraft from the bow (Tomcat) taxiied fine until its wing collided with the nose of the fourth aircraft from the bow (Tomcat).

After switching the Hornets and Tomcats spawn positions on the Sixpac, the Tomcats refused to taxi again.

It looks like some issue specific to the Sixpac.

I am also seeing this. Tomcats taxing to catapult 1 will hit Tomcats parked on the forward elevator damaging both aircraft. The taxing aircraft looses an stabilizer and crashes after launch.

Currently AI is bugged and doesn't care for obstacles. In MBot's image either Tomcat on elevator shouldn't be there or there should be no Cat1 available.

They have less spatial awareness than soccer moms driving a 7-seat SUV.

Are you still having the Uncontrolled AI problem still? I noticed it worked only if you didn't enter the mission planner before spawning. The notes says its fixed. I haven't tested myself yet.

Happened to me yesterday. Two F14 collided and finished my mission
