Celestiale
Like already explained in the headline, is there any indication like a cockpit lamp or something, when the drop tanks of those birds are empty? I never know, when to drop them..
RoflSeal
Well, Su-27 hasn't got any drop tanks so that one is easy.
Kayos
Not sure if there is a light. In the F-15 once the main fuel tank starts going down you can assume the drop tanks are empty :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Svend_Dellepude
The F-15 has a switch that can show you how much fuel is in the internal and external tanks. Dont remember the command but have a look in options. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD. Texac
I think it's Left Ctrl+D to show how much fuel is in the external or internal tanks. Maybe it's Left Shift+D With Left Ctrl+D+Left Alt+D you can make a quick test if the fuel indicator is working. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
Sweep
Left shift D on the F-15 to cycle through fuel tank indication modes. I tend to go by total fuel amount on the F-15 though...full internal fuel is 13,450lbs (6100kg). On the Fulcrum there's a light on the fuel gauge that will illuminate when your external fuel - or at least the centerline tank (that's what I fly with 98% of the time) - is out.
