grafspee
Did some fiddling with the exhaust stacks, and just began to add bumps to panel edges (as an experiement). Unfortunately, I cannot make the soot and lead get progressively worse the farther aft you go on the exhaust stacks, due to limits with the template. I'm given one exhaust stack in the template, and that one affects all of them, so I'm trying to find a balance. that exhaust pipe flash it is just wicked great job. Magic Zach
Sorry for no updates. I started working on the rear fuselage, and I'm still messing around with the front occasionally. I plan on redrawing the heat discoloration and some rivets. Rivets, rivets, rivets. So far, on the rear half of the fuselage, I've done about a third of the riveting, redrew the textures of the tailwheel, as well as redrew panels. Some doors weren't correctly placed or sized. I've been moving along pretty slow, partially due to the workload (rivets) and partly me spending more time actually playing DCS while on summer break. But when it looks at least presentable, I'll be sure to have some screenshots up here. Once this rear fuselage piece is done, this is basically 2/3 of the way complete, because 99% of what I draw on the left or right wing can be copy/pasted on the other. Hope you all are having a good summer Hardware: T-50 Mongoose, VKB STECS, Saitek 3 Throttle Quadrant, Homemade 32-function Leo Bodnar Button Box, MFG Crosswind Pedals Oculus Rift S System Specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, RTX 3090, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB DDR4-3200, Samsung 860 EVO, Samsung 970 EVO 250GB Modules: AH-64D, Ka-50, Mi-8MTV2, F-16C, F-15E, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-5E, P-51D, Spitfire Mk LF Mk. Magic Zach
Sorry for no updates. Not going to lie, I burned myself out on this. I recently subscribed to the AirCorps Library, and have access to schematics of the various pieces and assemblies of the Mustang. This is a lot more reliable than simply eyeballing pictures like I've been doing, and am slowly chipping away at a 3.0 (I've redone my previous work so many times at this point). For now though, I'm working on a different project for a different game, as part of a squadron I'm part of. When I'm finished with that, I'll hop back into this.
