Some night time shenanigans, lighting is a touch brite but much improved over base Tarawa - and I had DS off so might be less brite with DS on.

More that likely "normal" DCS behavior.

Come to think of it, the Swift could almost touch the beach if placed correctly in the ME.

I would need to investigate further.

If it something in the lua code, we can correct it.

It does appear this is a DCS limitation. Silver Dragon mentions this feature and it's status according to his available information, in his models thread.

 

 

About landing operations, the status has actually "unknown". The landing behaviour has applicable to all ships near the coast (require some type of AI code on ships and a code to a landing on a coast / beach and dock a ship on a harbour or similar aka "DCS Navy", and meanwhile the LST Mk2 has improved the doors, ramp and cargo animations, none functionality has been added or implemented to landing cargo, vehicles or troops on the shore or vise-verse (ED need implement them).

 

A similarly situation has to the "disappear" LCVP with ability to cargo infantry and / or cargo. The main problem about a LCAC has need build and code as a "vehicle", not as a ship to implement them the water so shore movement, added on the last updates.

 

Meanwhile, LCAC and other Landing ships has in develop by RAZBAM, but actually has not data about release, similarly to the all RAZBAM "navy" pack in progress.

Two questions...

 

A.) Is this the same LHA MOD that appeared for a few days last year then disappeared? I was extremely disappointed I wasn't able to get it before it was pulled...

 

2.) What are the differences between the Tarawa and Wasp class of LHA.

You can make them amphibious (the LCAC's) if you want, but they don't keep the land speed they have on water. Better though as a land version. gimme a shout if you need the LUA for the entry.

Could use an empty one and one with the 4 LAV and one with loadsa humvee/truck variety, but it's cool as is :)

make sure you've installed all five ships. they work with each other...I don't have the same problem your having.....sorry. If you have any other problems please just PM me not post here. thanks

 

 

No guns don't fire at the moment but their are other guns that do shoot. This is still a work in progress. I have a fix for the hard deck elevators area and for the Osprey window areas...Just waiting a bit to test before I release..

Hi there !

I tried to cold start in huey from the essex, and helicopters started on the very centre of the flight deck with rotor blades nearly hitting the bridge, they didn't spawn on helicopter places, does anyone experienced the same ?

HI Taylor

Using the mod and they look wonderful. Downloaded all the ships so the graphics are working properly. In my log Im picking up an error however. Looks like its having a problem identifying the path to the sound files. You know this may be a dcs thing.

 

Also the rate of fire on the 127mm guns is off. They fire like shotguns.

OK Are all of the parking spots the "Same" or are there different spots for different aircraft? IF they are different can you give us a diagram of what spots are where?
