Pikey Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Hi The AI AV8B when placed on the Tarawa in any start type, and asked to take off will rev to 99% throttle (clean, 7% fuel) rotates nozzles down, starts rolling backwards and maintain backwards accelerating slowly but not moving vertically until around 400-800kts before plumetting into the sea.
