king1hw Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 Gents: Warbirds of Prey is flying the Normandy map on an exclusive T1 Fiber Optic line. We are running a Script with B17s Flying into Normandy every hour in a package of 15 carpet bombing. The more live pilots we get to join the AI fighters will be removed. The Server has a Radar system and Map to help find targets. We use a Modified KNEEBOARD Map if you scroll through there are Zoomed Sections as well. We are using a Modified Dot only for all targets. The map Operation Overlord runs from June 6th through 12th and is on a 6 hours map rotation. There are Panzer Tank Columns Moving North to engage Allied forces along with Paratrooper drops capturing airfields. We hope all will come to join us for a flight on our Server runs 24-7 and is restarted every 6 hours. We are going to try and host as many as we can to test the line strength. Very animated server, even is more AI for now, but it gives a real feeling to be part of that time. I would highly recommend this server to anyone. Shahdoh Posted June 28, 2019 Share Posted June 28, 2019 Sorry you have experienced that, but have also been on the server with a half dozen folks and seen it play smooth (Yes, I know, that is not huge numbers, but we are growing). The team has been watching this closely and have hardware improvements planned to help with the issue some are experiencing. We also hope the upcoming Normandy Map upgrade will help out. Same here last-nights flight with 12 people on; 2 from Russia and the others from USA, Canada we seen lots of AI warping. Unplayable. Especially after I called for Enemy Axis AI airstrike.
