How to get round this issue? You open for example the picture in the list and copy the url in the "insert image" button(new post, upper menu), never tried it with other file types("insert link"). You can right click on the zip file in that list and copy the url to paste it in your new post, if you click it you will download the file. Thats the only way i know. There is no advantage in uploading another and the same attachment just to have it visible in another post.
