And a Pacific Theater map

I've wanted those 3 planes and map for a while. While I don't know the specifics for the Corsair and Zero, I put my heart to the 38 for the time being. I want a twin engine!

I've always loved the Hellcat, made lots of models of it as a kid. Think it looks so cool. Was responsible for around 75% of aerial victories of the US Navy during WWII and credited with over 5,000 kills during the war. It was pretty awesome and a worthy module.

Count me in for the Corsair and Zero.

The Hellcat is a nice plane but the Corsair has the iconic bent wings. :smilewink: I actually got an up-close look at one flying at a small airshow where I used to live. :smilewink: My Grandfather used to work on them in WW2 in the Marines.

Corsair for me.

As a Brit, conscious that we solved their carrier landing capabilities and flew them in the Pacific alongside the US navy.

The fact that it looks awesome adds to it. Oh, and the fact that I got to buy a cool Cobi (Lego ish) version for my son.

Seems to be a plastic model, it's on the first page of a google image search for Corsair, linking to here

Exactly where I got it from. :P I wanted an image that showed the wings best and that was the best one I could find. :smilewink:

I became a big fan of the Hellcat after being introduced to it play War Thunder. Which led me into RC airplanes when I found out they made an all electric foam RC hellcat that is alot more affordable and easy to put together than it would had been years ago using Nitro engines and complex build it your self balsa kits.

So now I would love to have a Hellcat in DCS!

This is the same RC Hellcat I have.

That is foam RC Corsair made my Hobbyzone. But I think this P-38 would be more your taste. Its currently the best EPO foam electric P-38 available made by Flightline RC. :smilewink:
