Just curious why people are so interested in su22, where it was used and did it have same kind of almost symbolic place on russia as mig21?

I don't know much about the Su-22 myself, but that makes it a desireable module. Little known of and historically forgotten aricraft to learn? Yes, please.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

Well, I'd buy any of the later Cold War (late 70s and on) Soviet planes done at this level no matter the price so hopefully some will follow..

i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.

DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?).

Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!

I voted other... MiG-27K Flogger J2. Of course I would love to have a Su-17M4 or similar version as well. The Su-17/20/22 family of aircraft were all very interesting... I just prefer the MiG-27.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

Said yes to the 17/20/22, mainly because if we can't get a hifi Su-25 module then we need some hifi Russian mud mover.

After reunion of Germany tests of the SU-22 showed that its an very reliable plane and has good Defence systems...but hydraulic has been weak.

I like it  it has a bit like"I am the TORNADO of the east".
