What's with P-51 versus Fw 190 in Dogfights ?

appropriate version with 75 HG and 150 octane fuel.

Is this common ground historically speaking -- that 67 was in the very beginning and 75 is the standard / common version or not?

Guys, please. No.

No more discussions of HG and Octane ratings for the P-51. It's been done to death and the outcome, like war, never changes.

Is there any other thread? I read this one and I could not find a conclusion. I am sort of new to DCS.

Wait to see what ED decide when they do the changes to the module.

Are they going to review the module?

I ask this because I have two WWII modules since 2014 and never really played DCS. Several setbacks kept me from playing the game, this one included. Now, with the 1.5 version I find it much better, so I am setting my G940 and stuff. But this is important, hence the question, especially if they sampled an early P-51D version and they are really reviewing the module.

Discussions like these are important and they raise taboos that the lufts don't want, it's a shame the allied side got silenced in the forums. If someone feels something is wrong it's his right to point it out, if the others feel differently it's their right to say so as long as it doesn't devolve into mud flinging, grape brought up an excellent point that needs to be checked out by the devs regardless of what anyone says. Also why is it whenever I post I feel like I'm walking on thin ice.

Plenty. The search function will throw up loads of them.

Yes, see Racoon's posts in this thread:

Cool, I'll check Racoon's posts. The search function is a bit tricky for who seldom visits the forum. I could miss some important topics or take a lot of time to find what's relevant.

Thanks for the help

Endless discussions.... :)

Learn to master it in various contexts. Then use the appropriate tactic to each situation. Maybe most important thing is to learn when to flee.

If you have the "winner" condition in your blood and cannot handle the lose situations then maybe you should try other plane that proved better during YOURS sortie. If this condition is still not a "winner" for you then for sure is something about the interface between chair and joystick/keyboard :D
