Hadwell Posted March 11, 2017 Share Posted March 11, 2017 F-5 turns tighter, but it loses its airspeed and is far slower and accelerates far worse than either the mig-21 or the viggen, so the mig or viggen can just zoom away... viggen accelerates better than the mig-21, but craps out at low speeds the mig-21 turns better than the viggen, except at super high speeds My youtube channel Remember: the fun is in the fight, not the kill, so say NO! to the AIM-120. WinterH Posted March 11, 2017 Share Posted March 11, 2017 At the lowish speed of 600 km/h, I suspect that the Viggen will hit its AoA wall rather quickly, it only turns good at high speeds above 700ish km/h. Infact, it turns pretty great at those speeds, but only for a few seconds as it bleeds speed like there's no tomorrow. Haven't throughly tested but, I think at that speed it will probably be the F-5 among the 3 of them.
