ir marking

I have a practice mission using ground jtac to lase a target.

all works fine.

but I wanted to set it up for a night attack using ir marking

but my jtac now simply says 'no targeting available.'

as usual i'm sure I've done something wrong but don't know what

please help

Hi,

I played your mission in the original version and had the same result like you. JTAC didn`t give me a target.

Then I changed the JTAC vehicle into a Stryker MG (the one with the bigger cannon) and played again.

And it worked, He gave me the expected answer. Did not play it to the end, but sure, you only have to change the vehicle typ. Good Luck !

I believe the logic originally was that vehicles without night optics can't see targets at night. It's just become a little questionable over the years who can and can't see at night.

Tried it. Only worked with ATGM Stryker. But went like a dream. Thanks agin.
