Just a quick question in relation to the Harrier and its development. Will we be seeing implementation of the Harm and Harpoon? (or B61 :) lol )

The wiki page states they are weapons in its arsenal, I would enjoy using them i think!

It never carried those weapons

The video is set to 46:40 seconds where they talk about weapons, just hit play.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Razbam have stated they’ll be doing a Sea Harrier, which I believe could carry the Sea Eagle anti ship missile.

System: 9700, 64GB DDR4, 2070S, NVME2, Rift S, Jetseat, Thrustmaster F18 grip, VPC T50 stick base and throttle, CH Throttle, MFG crosswinds, custom button box, Logitech G502 and Marble mouse.

Server: i5 2500@3.9Ghz, 1080, 24GB DDR3, SSD.

The launch platform of Harpoon does not need its own radar. Missile can be launched from pre-planned point, it then flies using its INS/GPS, and then turns on its own radar for terminal attack.

AGM-84 is cleared for AV-8B, but normal launch platform for air launched variant is F/A-18C/D/E/F, P-3 Orion, and P-8A Poseidon. Japan's version of F-16 , the F-2 carries 4 Harpoons or SLAM variants. F-16C/D Block 40 and above can carry it. I beleive that back in late 1980's B-ONE and BUFFs got software updates to basically be Harpoon trucks. As Navy was concerned that Soviet Kirov class heavy cruisers, could absorb a lot of damage.WIth SA-10 ans SA-12 naval variant SAM on Kirov could shut down 250 cubic kilometers of airspace.

Thanks for the video man, really interesting. Of notes he does mention the aim-120. However without a radar I'm not sure how that would work? Magic?

It is only mounted on the AV-8B+ which does have a radar. Not the Night Attack.

Magic? Of course magic, isn't that how everything works? I am sure there is an easy to find and common sence answer but, we can go with magic.

In retrospect the decision to call both planes AV-8B might not have been terribly clever, really. I mean, obviously more than enough people do get the distinction and have no problem with it, but it keeps boggling my mind how many threads right here end up with the difference between N/A and Plus featuring prominently.

Well, realistically it actually started as the DAY attack! Then came the NIGHT attack! And then, only then the 8+. And there are of course upgrades to each version along the way. A 1991 night attack is loooong way from what we have (whatever year its supposed be 2010?). But whatever, screw actual details and docs as long as joe studly can drop some bombs on some static targets on GAW its cool.
