SUBS17
Right Alt + HOME to start left engine Right CNTRL + HOME to start right engine. It moves the throttle from cut off to idle and it will auto-start. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Sabre-TLA
Great tut, but step 22 says "left engine start" well.. how do i start the engines??.. Ono more q.. where do i find the pdf check list.. i saved the jpg end trim it, but i would like to have the pdf Thank :-) Mogens The pdf for the checklist is in "...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\Missions\ITT01 - Interactive Startup Trainer Tester\" with the mission file. For the DCS World version the checklist is in ""...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Doc\". To start the engines via keyboard (from SimHQ's DCS A-10C Startup Quick Reference): 17. Move Left Throttle from OFF to IDLE (Right ALT + Home). 18. Wait for left engine to run normal and stable. 19. Move Right Throttle from OFF to IDLE (Right CTRL + Home). Avarien
Thanks for the info. I own this campaign and see both interactive startup and shutdown trainer tester .miz files in my Eagle Dynamics > DCS World > Mods > campaigns > A-10C - Basic Training Qualification folder, but I cannot find those files anywhere within DCS World to launch. I have checked Instant Action, Mission, Campaign, and Training ... and cannot find these missions anywhere to fly. I am using the most current version of DCS World Beta (2.5.2.20601). Thank you. Sabre-TLA
ED made a change to the mission structure so you can't open them from within the menus. You can open them from the Mission Editor by pointing the folder to: <your drive letter>:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\campaigns\A-10C - Basic Flight Training Qualification All the missions are there and you can play the campaign missions again using this same method. Avarien
I got this to work last night. These two, and the other practice missions (which I were unaware of previously) seem to be just as high quality as the main campaign missions. It is a shame you have to drill down so far to access these files. It sounds like may not have much say in the current situation as it pertains to the campaign menu functions but for what its worth, I would prefer to have the option to select these interactive trainers and practice missions in the campaign menu prior to attempting the evaluation missions. I do want to say I am enjoying these and look forward to something similar for the hornet.
