PSYKOnz
Hi there, this bug affects the HSI when selecting a waypoint to navigate to the HSI will point in the wrong direction and say a stupid distance to the point eg 652nm to a waypoint thats 20nm away the arrow seems to be wrong as well. PSYKOnz
it did, how did you know lol ;) it's happened more than once, in fact, every flight. is jester drinking in the ready room again? Tomcat, Tomcat über allen
near_blind
It's not an issue with the HSI, and it's only marginally Jester's fault. There existed for a long time a bug in the engine with how the coordinates of mark points were returned. The X coordinate was returned as the Z coordinate, and vice versa. ED recently fixed the bug, but that means the workaround to unflip the coordinates, ironically, now returns flipped coordinates. It's been reported multiple times. Heatblur is aware of the issue and it's fixed internally, it'll most probably be in the next patch.
IronMike
that is correct, it is fixed and has been submitted to ED for the OB patch which was supposed to release last wednesday, but got postponed unfortunately.
