Jester2138
Where can I find information on the V-speeds and AoA and so forth for the JF-17? Real-world or DCS information is fine. There must be pilot manuals and stuff out there somewhere.
AeriaGloria
No real world manuals. I think most places including the quick start guide say to rotate above 120 knots, and take off should be 140 knots or more. On speed AOA is 10 degrees. Jester2138
How about Vy and cruise AoA?
AeriaGloria
Never seen that info around, but there is this post https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4045960&postcount=13. I think it’s been said before that you want to climb at about Mach .8-.85, unless I’m mixing it up with the Viper.... or maybe it’s supossed To be like the Viper.... shaHeen-1
Go 500 kts flat then pull up to 25 degrees and you should get up to angles 30 pretty quickly at 300kts.
Tiger-II
I find she's best around 350 kts to Mach 0.8 then Mach 0.8 climb until 300 kts, or as low as 270 kts if in a higher drag config. I'd like to know best L/D speed/AoA. F-16 is around 6 degrees at 236 kts. Seems a bit slow in the Jeff/higher descent rate than expected. Jeff seems to have high alpha drag???
