TrackIR~3 Using TrackIR~5 software.. too jittery :(

Hey guys

i was gifted a TrackIR3 with the "Vector Code". I seem to get the same results no matter what settings i use.

Jittery Movement. Jerking movements way off screen. Movement in one direction, but not the other (left and right. Yes Mirror is on). Infact, none of the axis are smooth.

the last time i used it, it got confused, slammed into a completely sideways view. nothing would fix it, without rebooting the camera. Funny enough, i could turn smoothing down all the way, and it would at least center. and have good "roll" but shakey.

The Camera view, is great. 3 perfect squares.

I just cant seem to make any headway on it.

Is there any other software? do reflectors loose reflectivity? any tricks? tips?
