Ghost Velocity Vector inaccurate behavior

Currently the ghost velocity vector acts inaccurate. It should always stay level with the flight path marker. It's purpose is to show the lateral effects of wind on the aircraft. As it works now, the GVV is locked into the plane the aircraft rolls about. Which means as you roll, the GVV will displace vertically above or below the aircraft. See below.

This allows you the ability to show a different attitude with the GVV than the flight path marker. The FPM should ALWAYS show the correct attitude. That is to say the roll and pitch of the aircraft's flight path is always shown with the FPM. The GVV only shows the lateral deviation. As you can see on the second picture, I have a vertical velocity of 0. But my FPM is set at 2.5 degrees above the horizon. As seen below, the GVV should roll with, but stay level to the FPM.

Also to add to this when I used the velocity vector to put the DMT on a target it locked to the ghost vector being off boresight. Is it supposed to do that?
I've seen that. That happens when in nav mode. Probably not. But I'd have to check.

I figured it would use actual aircraft borsight. It seems odd that it would do that. I haven't seen anything in the manuals about it.

The GVV is actually correct. The VV is working incorrect when in Nav mode. If you keep 0 FPM the VV is above or below the horizon while the GVV is on it. Razbam seems to have coded it that the VV stays on the same horizontal as the GVV in reference to the plane and not the actual horizon as it should be.

Bump this.

I know a while back it was mentioned on Facebook it was being acknowledged, but this was before the days Decoy. Just want to make sure it hasn't fallen through the cracks.

Bump to be added to the bug tracker. Haven't heard anything from this since a Facebook announcement a few months back.

Incorrect behaviour. Definitely not as it should be.

This is one of my biggest gripes. I hope it comes out soon. I've been waiting since they released a statement on it last year on Facebook.

Exactly. It's the VV what needs to be fixed actually.

Bumping this thread (and reporting Harrier bugs in general) is a bit like playing the lottery, because why not? Once in a while, you put 5$ in and who knows, maybe this time you get lucky! On that note, BUMP!

This is a bug and it is not solved.

The options are:

1. They don't read the forums

2. They read and choose to do nothing about it

3. The internal communication is really that bad, that Decoy thinks many unresolved bugs are actually resolved.

I'm betting on number 1 and 2.
