runny
Would be nice to get rid of the tapatalk app redirect when browsing on iphone. This more recent one where you can't even continue to the forums without waiting 10 seconds is especially annoying.
Witchking
Pretty un-necessary, but I am part of a number of forums in other hobbies,...but the current forum software is very antiquated, any chance we may get a new version of the forum along with DCS 2.0? 313_Nevo
I dont know if somebody already mentioned YouTube videos posting. But here is small suggestion: At this moment it is allowed to put inside YOUTUBE tags only the part of YT video url which is behind '=' e.g. Y0G_4fxZUSk Pls make posting YT videos easier for the forums members by allowing them to put inside YOUTUBE tags also the full urls like: thx
T_A
Dont know if its been posted before , but i would love a 'Dev Tracker' sub forum. some game forums have a system that tracks all posts by the developers meaning , say if Wags or any of the team at ED posts a message anywhere on the forum , it would also show up on the 'dev tracker' sub forum (kind of like a 'search folder' in Outlook) IAF.Tomer My Rig: Core i7 6700K + Corsair Hydro H100i GTX Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7,G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3000Mhz Gigabyte GTX 980 OC Samsung 840EVO 250GB + 3xCrucial 275GB in RAID 0 (1500 MB/s) Asus MG279Q | TM Warthog + Saitek Combat Pedals + TrackIR 5 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
313_Nevo
What I want to suggest (to moderators) is to moderate better the 'Input and Output' and 'PC Hardware and Related Software' forums as there is real mess  ..or make them one forum and the mess will turn to order :music_whistling:
Gargoil
Please make an "ignore thread" option... I'd like to see only threads that i'm interested in the main forum instead of the one with the latest post or whatever
Flagrum
Please make an "ignore thread" option... I'd like to see only threads that i'm interested in the main forum instead of the one with the latest post or whatever You can subscribe to a thread and get informed about new postings either here or by email. That way you would not even have to come to the forums and be bothered with all those uninteresting other threads .....

Flagrum
I know that but don't like the idea of getting an email for every new post... You can configure it so that you get one mail every week or so for all subscribed threads. And perhaps there is even more ways to configure it - idk, never explored it in depth. cichlidfan
You can configure it so that you get one mail every week or so for all subscribed threads. And perhaps there is even more ways to configure it - idk, never explored it in depth. You can also configure it not to send you messages at all. Then you just have a list of subscribed threads to view. This is far better than an ignore list since there are currently over 100,000 threads on the forum. Gargoil
Well, you dont need to put on ignore 100k threads. Just those that you dont care about, are active and show up in "Last post" section on the forum main page (http://forums.eagle.ru/?langid=1). This way when you come to the forum you immediately know is something new is posted in your fav threads
Cedaway
Suggestion: I'm a bit concerned regarding the security of the website (and the forum). As our account is linked to our modules serial numbers and bank datas, the process of login into the site seems quite dangerous. Isn't it possible to crypt (SSL/TLS) the accesses to the site? Or to create an encrypted version of what is in the e-shop and serials managements part of the site? An un-encrypted site, as it is now, is a major threat for all the customers. Cedaway
FYI, the forum account is not linked to the eshop account. You're right,... and that's why it's important to have separate passwords. But on the site, the login is still not protected. The login information we send are 'in clear'. And when logged in, the site remains unsecured (No crypto protection (SSL/TLS)). So, as a suggestion/question, is it possible to update the website to a standard modern protection level? DCS Wish: Turbulences affecting surrounding aircraft... doveman
Seeing as the serials get e-mailed out in clear text anyway (unless they've stopped doing that since I bought my last module), I don't think just encrypting visits/logins to the website is going to provide any real security. It would be good if they dealt with both issues though. EDIT: Co-incidence probably but I've just been notified that someone on China Mobile has attempted to hack into my forum account!
