A large and often overlooked component of this has to do with how a person sets up their controls.

If you have your throttle and stick sitting on a desk to the left and right of your keyboard, where you are "freehanding" the cyclic you'll always be struggling.

Helicopter sticks are in the middle because that's where your finer motion skills are performed the easiest.

The closer your flight controls are to resembling an actual helicopter, the better off you're going to be.

Aside of having good training content like this, controls set up should be emphasized more.

Absolut right

Beside the actual flying talking about setups and hardware is basic stuff.

We all learn a lot from the experience of others. Videos and Tutorials are tools you have to know how to work with.

Joyning a squad or any kind of group providing you with lots of experience and different opinions is better than any video :smilewink:

Always happy landings ;)

Rotor shadow flickering is horrible, you can end up with a seisure.

It's better to be done with 1.5.8 where everything is OK with shadows.

Just my 5 cents.

It's not a bug. It's a feature. :music_whistling:

HELICOPTER FLIGHT TRAINING SERVER IS ONLINE.

Hello everybody

The FLIGHT TRAINING SERVER IS ONLINE.

Actual a Basic Training Mission for all levels of pilots is running.

The mission created by CROMEHUNT consists out of several tasks many of them hover training. These are training tasks used by real-life pilots and during flight school in France Army.

The goal is to improve your control handling and coordination of the controls. Some of them may fly with cargo underneath.

The mission is his property and may be copied or used for your on porpuses other than on Low-Level-Heaven Server only with his permission.

A lot of work and time is needed to create such missions, and we appreciate that we are allowed to use it.

The Server is Password secured! Why?

1. To make sure that you can seriously train on the server without distraction. We try to avoid Players curios are just visiting and thereby screwing up the missions.

2. There are slots for a few different helicopters, but the actual task may be flown by only one at a time. So there is coordination and communication required. Any pilot on the server must also be on the TRAINING AUDIO CHANNEL for that reason.

The mission is superb and fun and that even more when you try it together with other fellow pilots.

To get access, contact one of the instructors. He will invite you to the mission for a familiarisation flight, and after that, you get access to the private channels as well.
