Default NVG lighting broken

The NVG light conditions are way too bright comparing to previous version. Also, in NVG all black textures are "hot" so the vehicles are invisible on the rubber tarmac

Did you adjust your NVG gain? Also the TGP now has manual Level/Gain control as well, unbox the ALG option and press the ZOOM OSB to cycle between ZOOM, LEVEL, and GAIN.

OK
The googles gain is my bad. It can be adjusted, but the skidmarks glowing hot is a bug, might be game engine related... Unless this is how it works IRL?

FLIR is indeed not really working as a thermal camera would, in DCS. It uses the color of an object to determine how it'll look, instead of its temperature and that's because there is no temperature map in DCS right now, for either the terrain or units/objects AFAIK. So a dark vehicle will look similar to the dark skid marks on the tarmac. A FLIR rework is underway and you can already see some of its WIP effects, such during explosions.

What map is that I just looked at them on the Caucasus map, and didn't glow like that.
