Android/Tablet/iPhone/iPad Guide Update

Just a heads up that I've been updating and adding to this mobile/web checklist guide: http://www.cubit.net/dcs/index.php

I'm still very much a noob, and just using this to help me. Yesterday marked my first adventures beyond the training missions. It took me a while just to start my plane up, but the checklist guide helped a lot. Hope it helps some others out there.

In this round, I added Taxi and Takeoff guide lists, as well as landing prep and TACAN landing. Next is ILS landing.

I would appreciate any suggestions for changes, additions, etc. Best way to do that would just be responding to this thread.

Hope to be flying online with some of you soon, but I need to get at least a little more up to speed. Now that I've done the startup list a few times, I know where all the switches are!

Great idea sledgeweb. Just visited with my Android and it looks nice and clean (apart from those ads ;) ). Good job.

If you could replicate the 'gold standard' of checklists, Paulrkii's (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=74949&highlight=checklist), it would truly be something special.

Sure, guess I should get permission first though. Part of the idea of this, is multiple lists/versions can be incorporated... so if someone wants a more basic/introductory startup procedure, it's there, or a more advanced list for realism enthusiasts. So, thanks for the heads up about Paulrkii's list.

lol, sorry for the ads. I pay a lot for server space so just have a habit of sticking ads on everything I put up to help offset the cost a bit! I can remove them if it's more useful for people. I have a love/hate relationship with advertising myself! ;)

Okay, off the fly! More updates soon.

I use "Aircraft Checklist" from Android market. You can make anything you want and it's extremely powerful once you get to using it. Of course you have to make your own checklists. However you can make them in xml format on the computer and transfer them over.

As far as this checklist it looks ok and everything from Android, except that ad of whatever it is at the top. My tablet uses Dolphin HD so it doesn't load flash until I click on it so the checklist it moved half way down the page with a huge white box over it and another blackbox with a green arrow waiting for me to click it to load your ad.

I suggest you put a donation link on the bottom of the page with a nice button or something and take the ads off if you ever want to get serious about it. The iPhone app out now is free, and the Aircraft Checklist I use from the market has less obtrusive ads. Just a suggestion.

If anyone is interested in making their own version and has hosting, you can get the source to his list here, http://jquerymobile.com/, pretty nice setup preconfigured just add in your options.
