Not sure if its local issue or a mission issue. I think Frostie had some trouble with it as well. If it crashes upon loading (and before unpausing), then yeah that's not good. Works flawlessly when I host it though, and also others have hosted it successfully. Remember that teams have to be equally populated and spawned in before unpausing for the mission to work properly. If you want to test the mission functionality in singleplayer, you need to change one of the client aircraft to an AI aircraft, to have equal teams (1v1), then it doesn't restart after 5 seconds :) But anyway, as long as the TAW guys have it working, should be no problem.. Regarding the terrain, I really can't find a 50 km diameter patch without cities that's not ugly, so it will then include cities forest power lines etc. I guess somewhere east of Kerch would be good then..? FLANKERATOR Posted November 9, 2015 Author Share Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) Bracket system seems to have skipped Plaiskool who is a seeded pilot (ranked 24th by sa-sim), so adding him have changed the position in the brackets of the pilots seeded below him. Please check the brackets, your match number and the schedule once again, only a few people's positions and match time have changed, the vast majority is still the same. We just ran a test with OverG, padlock is still disabled. My guess is whoever sees them as enabled has edited the mission, saved it in the editor, while having padlock enabled in their own settings. This seems to enable padlock in the mission, regardless of host settings or the mission settings (a bug). Just use the original mission, don't touch it with the editor, and padlock should be disabled. If you still find that it is enabled, please PM me and let's arrange for a test flight together so I can see it with my own eyes... As much as we wanted to run this this weekend, we'd also like to have a fair competition and current version of DCS denies it. We're not cancelling this event, only delaying until the game gets rid of a few big let downs, this is beyond our control and we apologize for any inconvenience. We only decided to postpone now as the whole team was trying hard to make this work until the last day so I'd personally like to salute Stuge and OverG for their countless hours of mission testing and debugging. We hope you will all be able to fly again once we set the new dates and we will have a new thread where people can reconfirm their slots with also the possibility for new comers to sign up as well. Stay tuned as we aim for the release version of 1.5 (around 2-3 weeks according to the devs). S!
