I love the P47 in IL2, can’t wait to see how she is in this (engine).

It will blow up from other reason if you reduce power to 0 at high rpm :)

The only thing I'm worried about is the control surfaces falling of at 505mph like they do on the mustang. I want to be able to experience aileron reversal and compression at 550mph like the real thing did. And be able to drop the dive recovery flaps. Maybe I can dive after some jets. :D

I don’t recall ever reading about P47s falling apart in a dive. Some were damaged on the pullout from too much G and even then the damage was deformations (that did ground the plane for a major treatment) or engine damage from over-rev, but nothing breaking apart.

Are you aware that you can do it at much lower IAS just climb to 40 k drop straight down and you will get everything you want much quicker and at lower IAS

mig-15 or f-86 will dive much faster f-86 can do almost 600kts at SL

Its reported as a bug on the P-51, I think things have improved in this area since the P-51 was released.

2.5.6 version got some issues so i guess that everything else is postponed for now.

I think New Damage model is holding everything, it turned out to be the most complicated thing to do :P

That's what patches are for. I'll take a Jug with some problems over no Jug at all.

And other ppl will start whine that too many bugs that this is unacceptable. 2.5.6 is very good example for it. Because of it ED announced longer testing periods. So Jug will show later then you think.

We are doing final testing on the Jug right now, it is a lot of fun.

:thumbup::thumbup: thanks Nineline! Can't wait to try it myself, it will be a day one purchase for me.

Now we need those trains fixed for MP for those nice strafing runs on them.

Whiners are going to whine about it anyway. It's like a hobby for them.

It's hard to believe we are just getting to final testing on this compared to the # of modules that have been release already. Already 70, don't know if I'll make it to 77.....TC
