Texture template of C-101 model

Awesome thanks.

Edit: 435mb! Why?! lol...it better contain 4 times the awesomeness...

Won't be done downloading for a while, but I'm guessing they didn't remove the in-game liveries from the .PSD before posting the template.

Good for people who want to modify an existing skin, but unneeded for people creating their own, who just want the mesh and some texture/dirt as a base.

Anyway, thanks for releasing it!

This little bird is still probably my favourite trainer.

Bags of potential and beautiful cockpit.

The easiest plane to learn western navigation in.

With an advanced flight model and maybe more structured training missions the future could be very bright:thumbup:

This. It has become my primary trainer aircraft already, and it is getting pretty awesome soon.

It has been a while but I am still looking forward to more, rather patiently. :)

Aviodev are updating the PSD, it will be avaliable In few days

Cool.

I downloaded the original and it was a bunch of 2048x2048 textures. Hopefully you're able to merge your UV Unwrap into a single 4K texture, for livery simplicity.

Hi All:

The owner of the PSD files was out last week for personnal matters and he couldn't send the updated PSD's to ED, he will send them these days so that they can be reuploaded to DCS site.

With all due respect to Aviodev, I just can't understand why complications like this can't be taken into consideration before announcing a deadline for a release to the community. I'm afraid that is just causing more drama in the end, regardless of whether or not it's justified

I dont see how your statement applies to a team member having personal matters to deal with.

I interpret Ramsey's statement as saying that Aviodev should have simply got ahead of the issue. The new template was listed in the patch notes and a timeline was posted in this thread indicating a release of last week. All that Aviodev would have needed to do was simply post that the template release was delayed pending external issues, and then posted an updated ETA if available, and there would have been no drama perceived or otherwise.

Of course, if you could foresee problems like this occurring you could work around them, but that flexibility just doesn't exist with a small team of specialists.

As mentioned by the post above, the issue isn't a team member having personal issues he can't help, it's taking action to head of Aviodev customers being left in the dark which has happened a few times unfortunately, which I think has led to some of the negativity and tension in these parts.
