Hi all!

This is my first thread in this forum, so I hope I'm getting this right.

I like to share with you my second "Inspired by Real-Life Event" mission (thinking to make it a series).

In this mission I'm recreating the heroic Medivac operation from the symbolic fortress "The Beaufort" on June 1982 (Syria Map).

You can read all about the story here:

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.iaf.org.il%2F6520-39223-HE%2FIAF.aspx

Feel free to comment and share your thoughts about the mission.

And if you like to make your Huey to look more like an Israeli Bell 212, try this skin by assafm25:

Have Fun!!!

Cheers, I look forward to giving this a go tonight. Thanks

The story link is broken,

Hi Andrew,

The link is working for me, but anyway you can copy the link to the Hebrew source:

https://www.iaf.org.il/6520-39223-HE/IAF.aspx

Into google translate:

https://translate.google.com/

It should translate the page for you.

I hope you'll enjoy the mission!

nice mission.

I need to re fly it.First i went too far past the castle, I don't think i descended in time, no problem, I doubled back and found it. Approached from the north. On finals close to the Humvee at about 50 ft I seemed to hit something and I blew up, I couldn't see what it was though and didn't see any ground fire. I shall re-fly it.

Felt very eerie descending through the clouds with the fires burning all around.

Cheers, good to see Israel / Syria map content.

That link works, and google translate after.

Thanks again.

Good article and I'd say you nailed the cloud and fire.

"Once we were under the clouds we saw the whole of southern Lebanon burning: lots of fire, fires and shells whether in our direction or not."
