i changed nothing what so ever and it seems i can now load PG with succes. one time in mission editor, another when putting up the server.

It seems that I am missing some files and folders after the second update. Look at the error lines:

Seems working. Was able to load twice a mission on PG. Our server has only PG as module.

 

Edit : no longer working. Sometime the "DCS stop working" other time the blue crash window.

 

last log :

 

Can you attach the zip file it creates when it crashes? Should contain everything we need to look at that. Thanks.

You will see things like that in the log files from time to time, most times it causes no issues and just part of development.

Uninstalled and reinstalled all modules, campaigns and terrains, still crashed to desktop when trying to load Persian Gulf.

 

I tried that as well and having the same issue. Can't load PG at all just CTD for me. I also turned down all my graphics no help. All my drivers and windows 10 is up to date.

Maybe try this guys. I was thinking the crash may have something to do with the change in DRM so it needs to be reinitialised under your DCS login module manager. This appears to have worked for me.

'Saved Games\%USERNAME%\DCS.openbeta\Config\'

 

and try to run PG and/or Nevada missions.

 

Please attach dcs.log any case (success or not).

I had reverted to 20601 on the open beta because of the crash to desktop with the Normandy map. Seeing the request to add the autoexec.cfg to the game I updated to 21153. Starting a mission on the Normandy map again resulted in a CTD. Adding the autoexec.cfg step didn't work to resolve the issue.

I just took the time to do a 10 minute test for each of the three maps that I have and it’s good.

Yeah... I tried this way and entered Nevada map successfully via mission editor just now, but it took me more time to enter than previous versions.

I had a crash on the server. Tried to put it up again, failed. Put the file in the directory (on both machines), both can now succesfully run PG again!

Added the autoexec file and it actually works :) but it slows down the loading of the ME for PG

The slow loading “could” be that it’s rebuilding the fxo and metashaders files. Mine seemed normal after the second time.

I didn't had the autoexe.cfg to start with so I placed it in the folder.

 

Will check if it works.

I uninstalled all modules and re-installed - no change CTD immediately for both PG and NTTR using the FA-18C and A-10C.

 

The Caucasus map works perfectly.

 

 

Just finished doing the same this morning with exact same results as above. Log attached. I then went ahead and placed the autoexec as posted by USSR_Rik and this seems to have fixed the issue. Both Nevada and PG seem to load without issue now.

21153 still crashes to desktop after every load attempt. I removed all the content of the MODS folder so the game was pure, still no joy. The mission I was loading is a simple touch and go at Tangmere on the Normandy map.

 

Logs attached.

Disable Spitfire in Module Manager and check once again.

 

(It's not a solutoin - just for test)

Spitfire disabled, loaded the same mission, same failure.

 

Before I saw your message I had both cleaned and repaired the Open Beta, started the game, and created a fast mission on the Normandy map. The game crashed without creating the mission.

 

I also removed Tacview
