dali
P47 D40, not sure about other versions - unlimited ammo, if pulling negative g and droping bombs - they will go through wings
Terry Dactil
Yeah. It should really blow up the whole aircraft if someone is crazy enough to try dropping bombs while applying negative 'G'. 'Dropping' and 'negative G' are mutually exclusive.
dali
the point is, they do not collide with airframe
Art-J
They shouldn't blow up the plane because until the tail fuse fan makes the certain amount of revolutions to arm the bomb, it's just a big lump of metal. But back to original issue, isn't it a general DCS simplification? I remember years they used to be non-collidable in other planes as well, though I haven't checked it in a long time. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. dali
of course I'm talking about the non existing collision model. I never knew, it is integral part of DCS (and it kinda makes sense, as colliding with bombs is probably rare thing - hehe).
