Only direct air battle between US & Soviet/Russian jet fighters I know of. My short summary/understanding/Order of Battle on November 18, 1952, - Total time: 35 minute skirmish -2 x F-9F attacked from above by 4 x Russian flown MiG-15s. -1 x F-9F kills 1 x MiG-15, other F-9F guns jam -1 x F-9F kills 2 x MiG-15, heavily damages 1 x MiG-15 -1 x MiG-15 heavily damages F-9F, F-9F with jammed guns scares off damaged MiG-15 -1 x MiG-15 limps back to base and crash lands in the Soviet Union according to NSA Soviet Radio Chatter -2 x F-9F, 1 heavily damaged F-9F returns to the carrier and is most likely written off So overall score I believe is below: Soviet Air Force MiG-15 - 3 destroyed, 1 written off due to battle damage US Navy F9F-5 - 1 written off due to battle damage Edited September 8, 2018 by frixon28 additions
