RogueRunner
Enjoy the wait......... :P Yeah, the Cougar was selling full price since inception till the Warthog was released, ie YEARS! Just bite the bullet and get one, it's the right thing to do :P With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
hassata
unpacked it, and wow I totally have to rethink a profile for this beast. Arent some of the switches almost too frail to manipulate? namely the red 3 position switch on the right throttle and the thumb hat on the stick. Maybe Im afraid to brak it yes. I also owned rather bulky Thrusmaster F4 replicas before, and one time I ended seperating the stick handle from the base without much effort. About the girls, never had any that were afraid to break my stick. ;) There are a few pils that can help you on that :D [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic4448_29.gif[/sigpic] My PC specs below:Case: Corsair 400C PSU: SEASONIC SS-760XP2 760W Platinum CPU: AMD RYZEN 3900X (12C/24T) RAM: 32 GB 4266Mhz (two 2x8 kits) of trident Z RGB @3600Mhz CL 14 CR=1T MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR HERO VI AM4 GFX: GTX 1080Ti MSI Gaming X Cooler: NXZT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2+6GB WD 6Gb red HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog + CH pro pedals Monitor: Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD Freesync HDR400 1440P
Succellus
Once breaked my friend you can take any pills you want in any part you want, its game over.... If you have separated the cougar from its base: 1) it was unscrewed. 2) stop using as hammer, those are cheaper and more proficient to nail something that ain t flying 3) It can only be used as a warmace if the ennemy has no shield or is in an armor kind that is nor steel, iron or bronze. 4) chain saws don t count on the easy part, neither Katanas.:D HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD. Cali
Messed around with a WH the other day, it is pretty nice, feels way different then the cougar. I didn't play any games just saw it sitting on the table at a simulator place on base. They also had about 7 cougars in boxes and one simpit set up with the cougar in it. I'm going try to get some stuff fabricated for my pit. Wish I could get the sim pit they had. Next time I go, I'll take my camera. They had F-16, A-10, B-52 and F-15 pits there, just sitting there not doing anything! i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED

Vullcan
Are there any buttons on the warthog that are not assigned to anything by default? If so which ones are they?? Thanks :)
MackTheKnight
I've only had mine a short time and I think the only free button is the one on the stick that has the extension on it for your pinkie to hit. I'm using it for vent key-up.

Midwestboi
Can anyone tell me what the height is of the stick from the base to the top? Also, the diameter of the base (not the plate) if possible. I haven't ordered it YET... but I'm trying to reconfigure my PVC pit in preparation- and I need to know how low to place the center mount for it. Thanks. Midwestboi
True- and I did- but do you know how many results came up? TONS. But none that I could find that actually stated the exact size of the stick. Update: I went back through, and found measurements for the base plate of both the throttle and stick- I did not find any measurements for the height of the stick or the diameter of the round base. So if someone could be so kind as to quickly take a tape measure and answer this question, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. :-) Edited December 25, 2010 by Midwestboi update SYSTEM: ASUS P8Z77-V // Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge 3.4Ghz o.c. 4.4Ghz // 8GB G.Skill Sniper DDR3 PC2133 9-11-10-28 // MSI 570GTX Twin Frozr 1.25GB PCI-E 2.0 x16 // Win7 64-bit Home Premium ~~ DISPLAY: Sanyo 42" HDTV@1900x1080 ~~ DRIVES: Intel 330 series 60G Maple Crest SSD SATA III // WD 4000AAKS 400GB SATA II // WD Scorpio (laptop drive) 320GB SATA II ~~ CASE: AZZA Hurrican 2000 Full Tower // Cooler Master 750W P.S. Midwestboi
Found it: To be exact HOTAS Throttle: 8" Tall with throttles in the middle and with base Throttle base 10.75" L (9.5625" if the base plate is removed.) 6" W 2.0625" H (only the base, excluding the switches and throttles.) HOTAS Joystick: 11.125 Tall with base Stick base 10.6875" L 9.0625" W Now this is a BETA unit, it could change (but unlikely) for the production unit.
