Mr_sukebe
Being specific. Play in VR look left and the screen turns right and vice versa. Fine in isometric view. From a players perspective, looks like a dead easy fix. Mr_sukebe
Tested this again in 2.5.1 update. Still broken. Infact it now appears to have reversed axes for both the horizontal AND vertical in VR. I was sure that it was only one axis previously. PB4Tazman
I put a support ticket in for this issue. I received this reply : "At this time, CA is not designed for VR use."
Mr_sukebe
Can’t say I’m too impressed with that as a response. For one thing, I’d be amazed if that is the ED view on it, as against the view of the support colleague writing it System: 9700, 64GB DDR4, 2070S, NVME2, Rift S, Jetseat, Thrustmaster F18 grip, VPC T50 stick base and throttle, CH Throttle, MFG crosswinds, custom button box, Logitech G502 and Marble mouse. Mr_sukebe
VR is not supported in VR currently, I would hope that changes in the future though. If that’s the official line, then can I please suggest that you update the description in the E shop. As of today, it includes VR hardware requirements, very much suggesting support. It would be rather inappropriate to give potential new CA customers information that could be deemed as misleading. grammaton_feather
I'm confused... By the VR comments in this thread. Main page says VR not supported but some of the comments in this thread seem to be discussing issues with CA in VR???? I'd buy CA if VR support was there but there's no way I buy tiny 2d rectangle games/sims these days. darkman222
If someone knew the LUA file for CA where it stores the axis for looking around it could be fixed by swapping the axis direction in the LUA file itself. But unfortunately there is no track IR or views file as a LUA file. Maybe someone has an idea where to look. It perfectly translates the VR input with just the wrong direction. Delta59R
Is there a possible work around to properly aim in VR? I don't see crosshairs. The backwards head movement is not good at all but I can deal with it. Grodlund
At the moment there is only one known workaround. Quit DCS and relaunch with VR off.
